My sd card in my cell phone is saying its locked

SD cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card.

I[ am try-ing to get pic and movies off sd card

An inexpensive card reader (see this link) is a much easier, faster, and less error prone way to download your photos. In fact there are several important reasons discussed in the linked article for using a card reader vice downloading from the camera. USB Card readers are also very inexpensive these day, with cost virtually not an issue.

I do not have the

Since this camera has only analog composite video output, you could try with a stardard video and audio cable ( one 3.5 mm plug at one end and 3 yellow, red and white colored RCA plugs at the other end). To transfer videos from your camera to PC you'll need an analog video and audio capture card, it can be internal (PCI type) or external (USB type), for an easier installation the USB type is recommended since it's not necessary to open you desktop. These cards commonly have a bonus software to let you rip the videos (convert from analog to digital format).

Jazz dv163 keps saying card locked..........

Take the memory card out of your camera and look at it. SD cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card. If the switch is already in the proper position, slide it fully the other way and then back again.

Install new battery and sd

Be sure to charge the battery first. New batteries are usually not charged when shipped (fire hazard).

does the camera work with the AC power adapter? If it works fine with the ac power adapter the problem is most likely the battery. Not charged or bad.

SD card can't be read "Card Locked" is all that

There are several possible causes for "memory card locked", "memory card error", or "no memory card". Some include trying to use a 4GB SDHC card with an older camera made before SDHC format came out. Others include problems with the tiny slide switch on the side of the card, or the electrical contact switch internal to the camera. The problem may also arise from simple formatting problems if the card has never been formatted in the camera (note that this will also erase the card). Troubleshooting tips for this problem may be found at this link.

SD card is not working ,if we put cart camera does

Is it actually an SDHC (High Capacity) card? Anything over 2GB will be SDHC. SD and SDHC cards fit the same slots, but many cameras won't work with the SDHC (high capacity) cards. SDHC is not backwards compatible.
