Will my camcorder still record even though I can't view playback
If you cannot view action on the cam screen and likewise when attaching it to the TV; the video playback function has been compromised. You may be able to record as the two functions are separate from one another, however what good is recording when it cannot be played back? If the Recorded material is on a Tape or CD and you can move material to another reading device or player; then your problem is answered.

I have DigiLife DDV C511 Problem : Camera can not
Halo P`Imam...
Terima kasih semoga membantu!

How to change the language on my camcorder
On the back of the camera there is a round switch cluster. Press the
center button, then press the up arrow, then the arrow pointing right,
then the up arrow three times, then the arrow pointing right again. You
should then be in language selection and be able to select English.
Press the center button again to exit.

When switched from flash to
Hi in some of these cameras i have found that unless you are in low light conditions it simply will NOT flash, or even setup. So try setting it up in a very low light environment? See if that works. It did for me.

Blury when zoom is used
Hello
The problem is that the lens has become stuck in the barrel
after dropping it. There are some DIY solutions you could try, but the
probability is that you will have to get it fixed by a professional.
Use
these at own risk as it may further damage the camera.
Firstly ,
try connecting your ac adapter or usb cable.
Try holding the
shutter button while switching on the camera.
Look at the lens ,
and if some of the lens 'circles' is misaligned or not concentric then
try wiggling it (while holding camera lens down).
Try gently
pushing or pulling the lens when it extends but this is risky as it may
cause the lens barrel to slip out of its guidance system.
Another
way to do this is to place the camera lens down on a hard surface and
then power it up. Be sure to use a soft cloth or something similar as to
not scratch your lens or casing. Let the lens push the camera up and
down a few times and sometimes the little resistance provided by the
camera is enough to get things going again.
Try hitting your
camera near the lens on the body with the soft tissue on the palm of
your hand.
Other than that , I would take the camera to a repair
center for a evaluation to see if it would cost more to repair than to
replace the camera.
If it is still under warranty I would suggest
you take it in before trying any of these steps and remove any
off-brand batteries or accessories as some stores are really fussy about
warranty repairs on camera's with non-brand accessories.
Hope
the advise is useful.
Regards
Andrea

Can I have it installed on my laptop?
Gladly. Make sure you installed the CD your camera came with and that everything is properly installed. When installation is finished, a balloon should appear at the bottom right corner of your screen saying your software was "successfully installed and ready to use." Once completed, follow these steps:
For Windows XP/Vista/7
1) Go to the Start menu at the bottom left corner of your computer screen. Then left-click once on "My Computer"
2) You should see a very different icon from the rest (may look like a camera, a memory card, etc.) Double-click it.
3) Typically, two folders appear. DCIM is the folder your camera stores pictures and videos in. Your photos will be in there. You can then cut or copy the photos and paste them anywhere in the computer you will find them in. I preferably put them on the Desktop (the place where you see all the icons and shortcuts in your computer). You can now Paste the photos. If you have a lot of photos, you may want to create a new folder to keep them in, otherwise your Desktop will be cluttered.
