Can't tune DTV
Get an amplified antenna, for about 30$ from radioshack and try that, you get no guarantee that you will get stations at all, you can get channels in one spot and two inches away get nothing so a lot of thing affect your reception, with dtv it's gonna work or its not, no more fuzz or semi pictures like analog. Your home may have crappy reception period- but the amplified antenna should get you something- if you get a picture be sure to leave the antenna where it is, moving furniture and other conductive materials can affect your reception also....too much to even write here this is a big subject---try what i have suggested and let me know if it works... good luck
Six red blinks
a 6 blink is the power supply board that connects to the inverter board. check your plug connections again, make sure the small plug on the side is seated all the way in. but more than likely when you changed the backlite board, if you didn't take the lcd panel apart you damaged the ccfl tubes, which was most likely the original problem. one of the tubes go bad (smaller around than a pencil) that run across the screen behind the diffuser the white panel behind the lcd substrate. check that out and let me know...... thanks, Terry.
