The ice comes down cube but it will crush in the glass

Good Afternoon Friend, I understand that the ice is dispensing as cubed, in your Frigidaire refrigerator, model# GLHS269ZDB, but once it hits the glass it breaks apart and crushes. Please remove the ice bucket. Against the back freezer wall, you will see a square opening with either a white or clear switch that can be adjusted up to down. If you have a blow dryer, blow dry the square opening for about 7 min's. Once done, adjust the switch. It will either move freely or will remain in its opposite position. Replace the ice bucket. This should allow cubed ice. I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your appliances status has changed successfully. Hope this is helpful. -Best Regards- WP

The shelves and the bottom of my refrigerator keep filling with water.

It has to be water from the defrost system of the freezer. It is supposed to have a drain that goes to a pan under the frig where it evaporates from the heat of the compressor. The drain is stopped up or unhooked. Try to find a diagram of the unit on line or look in your owners manual.

Replaced Frigidaire Pure Source 2 filter and it keeps popping out after about 10 min or after about 5 glasses of Water. This is not the 1st time we have replaced the filter. Could it be just a Bad Fil

There was a redesign in the Puresource 2 filters (FC100 WF2CBs) that introduced a very very slight mismatch on the latching mechanism used. I've compared them and it's about a 32nd of an inch off. In the back of the socket where the cartridge is you will see two metal clamps. If you push the filter eject button, you will see them manually open and close. That is the mechanism that is not working due to the difference in the redesign. It is a design flaw in the new filters. I understand it has been corrected but in the mean time, there are a lot of bad ones out there. If it does have this flaw, I've never been able to get them to latch in and hold. My final solution was to build a new sliding lever that would lock over the front of water filter and hold it in place. It's very easy to do. You just need to make a latch. We are goint to Drill a small ( slightly greather than 1/8") hole about 1" to the right of the filter centered in the middle of the filter vertically. With the filter out, It should be hollow on the right side of the filter and you can reach your fingers around the right side edge and feel where the whole will be. Mark an drill your hole. It's 1/8" thick plastic and is easy to drill. Using stainless steel bolt, nut and washers a 2" flat metal with a 1/8" whole, and tighten it down firm and build a swinging latch. Push the water filter in place and close the latch. If the waterfilter has any room to play, try devising a wedge to hold it in place (the washer will do that, I used a little stickon rubber foot). The latch has to put pressure on the filter cartidge. Now try the water watching it. If done right, the filter will be held in place, no leaks or exploding waterfilters. If your listening Electrolux/Frigidaire the old design was 100 time superior to the new design. It would be nice to be able to purchase the old model even if it cost a little extra.

Hello Luz - This is AP and I'm happy to assist you! It appears your Frigidaire dryer console Control Lock has been activated. Frigidaire SY CF issues

Good Morning Jack, thank you for your question! Typically error code SY CF indicates that your refrigerator has detected a communication failure after power up. The error code may possibly continue after replacing the part you have ordered. With this error code, a professional would need to check wiring between the main control board and user interface board. After proper diagnoses and if the error continues, the main control board may need replacing. Hope this information helps to some degree!

Oven cleaning

Sometimes a breaker will trip and the arm will appear to be in the "on" position. Stand to the side of your panel and slide the switch handle all the way to the right if it isn't there already, slide it all the way to the left "off" position, then all the way to the right "on" position. If you do this properly, you should feel a bit of spring tension as the breaker re-engages. Keep in mind breakers trip for a reason and also that your cleaning cycle may still be engaged. .... Good luck
