Make sure that the program controller is working if not check power - step down supply, the pads are responding- if not faulty pads- or the door switches, if the switch contact are not good then it will not trigger the processor to switch on the waveguides. Fuses seldom just go bad on their own, but it's safe to replace. Before you replace the fuse, squeeze the tabs of the fuse holder clips together a bit. Sometimes they don't grip the fuse tightly enough, and this can cause heating which damages the fuse. If the fuse blows again there is a bad part in the oven that will need to be located and replaced. For a small countertop oven, it's probably more economical just to replace the oven than to repair it.

First if the microwave heated when it was working that means the magnetron is probably good (the most expensive part of the oven) as for the control it could be broken solder jonction points, it is normaly not too expensive to have them re-soldered by a good tech.

Sounds like the magnetron has failed. This is the component that produces the microwaves that heats the food.

The cost of the magnetron is about 95% of the cost of a microwave oven. Most people don't, for this reason, replace the magnetron, they replace the whole oven which is probably what you will end up doing.

There is a possibility that the circuit that provides power to the magnetron is faulty and you need to take it apart, find the proper electrical leads and test them with a volt meter. To do this you have to remove it from its mounting and take it apart. It is a fairly lengthy process however.
