How do I change silent from on to off so phone rings when I get a call?
On the D1680, D1481, and similar phones,
the three levels of ringer loudness plus
"off " are set at the base using the same
[ - ] Volume [ + ] buttons used to adjust
the answering machine message volume.
Pushing the [ + ] and [ - ] keys will
set the ringer to be louder or softer. A
number in the "message counter display"
will report the relative loudness...pushing
[ - ] below level-1 loudness will show
"0" loudness and an announcement of
"Ringer off" will be spoken. From here,
a single push of [ + ] will turn the ringer
on to level-1 and play a ~10 second
sample of the ringer at that volume:
while it is playing the sample ring,
subsequent pushes of [ + ] or [ - ]
will toggle the loudness levels of
( off, 1, 2, 3 ).
Good luck!
How can I delete 25 missed calls?
on the base station and not from hand sets
there is a delete button that looks like a trash can
the instruction in the owners manual is this :-
while playing a message press the trash can ( delete button for each message or
with the system in standby mode ( no one using the phone ) press the delete button ( trash can to delete all at once )
A red light is flashing in the corner of the handset. How do i shut it off?
If your charge light is flashing and you have no messages on your answering system, you may have voicemail. Voicemail is provided by your telephone company and they would be able to assist you with retrieving those messages.
Once you have listened to the new messages, the blinking light will stop. You may also be hearing a stutter tone before your dial tone when turning on your handset. This is also indicating you have a new voicemail message.
I can hear the person on the other end when i make or receive a call but they can't hear me
