Blinking light stays on after msgs have been deleted

That might be the Voice Mail Waiting Indicator which is NOT part of the answering machine system. On the D1680, D1481, and similar handsets, it is reset (turned off) by: 1. press [menu] 2. scroll down to "Global Setup", press [select] 3. scroll down to "VMWI Reset", press [select] 4. scroll down from "No" to "Yes", press [select] 5. handset will chirp, blinking lamp goes out, 6. press [END] Other models, check your manual. The model number is on a small sticker under the battery in the handset -- enter this number at www.manualslib.com to get a free copy of the User's Manual. Good luck!

How do I turn off the silent mode? I tried everything???? Help

The easiest way out of "Silent Mode Always On" is to just turn [ OFF ] the Answering Machine, then turn it back [on]. Use the [ANS on/off] button on the base, do not unplug anything. Good luck!

Manual?I lost mine

To obtain a replacement manual, you'll need the precise model number of your phone: this is found on a small sticker underneath the battery inside the handset. Take this model number (eg, D1680) to www.manualslib.com and you can download a free copy of the manual. Good luck!

How do I change silent from on to off so phone rings when I get a call?

On the D1680, D1481, and similar phones, the three levels of ringer loudness plus "off " are set at the base using the same [ - ] Volume [ + ] buttons used to adjust the answering machine message volume. Pushing the [ + ] and [ - ] keys will set the ringer to be louder or softer. A number in the "message counter display" will report the relative loudness...pushing [ - ] below level-1 loudness will show "0" loudness and an announcement of "Ringer off" will be spoken. From here, a single push of [ + ] will turn the ringer on to level-1 and play a ~10 second sample of the ringer at that volume: while it is playing the sample ring, subsequent pushes of [ + ] or [ - ] will toggle the loudness levels of ( off, 1, 2, 3 ). Good luck!

My handset says "searching" and doesn't have a dialtone. I tried a Basic Reset and it didn't help.

If it is flashing "searching" This usually means that the handset is not able to connect to the main Base unit connected to your phone line.

What does t-coil mean on uniden dect 6.0

Here's the description from the Unident DECT1560 manual (the model I have). https://www.uniden.com/File%20Library/FooterNav/Product%20Information/Owners%20Manuals/DECT1560om.pdf -- Digital cordless phones generate magnetic signals that can cause noise on hearing aids equipped with a telecoil ("T" coil) feature. This phone includes a special "T-coil" mode that, when activated, reduces the magnetic noise generated by the handset.

A red light is flashing in the corner of the handset. How do i shut it off?

If your charge light is flashing and you have no messages on your answering system, you may have voicemail. Voicemail is provided by your telephone company and they would be able to assist you with retrieving those messages. Once you have listened to the new messages, the blinking light will stop. You may also be hearing a stutter tone before your dial tone when turning on your handset. This is also indicating you have a new voicemail message.

Yesterday afternoon both handset 1 and handset 2

You need to replace the rechargable batteries. They are quite expensive, $30.00 each, but thats likely why they are dead.
