I have vertical lines on my 65inch Toshiba DLP. How can I fix it?

Vertical lines would suggest a problem with the optical light engine which might not be cost effective to replace---check to see if problem on ALL inputs.

Tv wont come on and orange lite is on

If you are refering to the 3 yellow blinks repeated over and over the boot data is corrupted. Download the firmware update from Toshiba and unzip the files and folders, copy the unzipped files & folders to a SD card (like a camera uses, don't use bigger than a 2 gig). Unplug the tv and insert the card into the slot hidden behind the cover above the HDMI inputs. Plug in the tv and watch the yellow blinking stop and a solid blue will light when done. Unplug the tv, remove the card, plug in the tv and all will be good.

Install a dlp chip

I don't know if one is even available for this model but you usually are better (since those chips average 200) to replace the light engine completely---if a problem in the engine it can damage the display chip again in exact same way.

I have a toshiba 65hm167. that yellow light above

I realize this is an old post, but if you are looking for a solution you might try this. It has yet to fail for the 3 yellow blinks. If you are seeing the 3 yellow blinks repeated over and over the
boot data is corrupted. Download the firmware update(link below)from Toshiba and unzip2_bing.gif the files and folders, copy the unzipped files & folders to a SD card (like a camera uses,I used a 2 gig). Make sure it is a SD card because an SDHC will not work. Unplug the tv and insert the card into the slot hidden behind the cover above the HDMI inputs. Plug in2_bing.gif the tv and watch the yellow blinking stop and a solid blue will light when done. Unplug the tv, remove the card, plug in the tv and all will be good. You could now install the update per it's instructions if you wish. Enjoy !!!

My toshiba 65hm167 turns off and on

May want to retire this set---the white dots are a problem in the Optical light engine this model uses and that is a very expensive part---it may or may not also be the on/off issue.

My power blinked and now my tv wont come back on,the yellow light just blinks and it wont do anything else???

not the lamp and lamp door is closed--double check lamp to make sure it is not shattered inside and is correctly inserted.Other than that the possible reasons are Bad ballast that fires lamp, power supply board problems in the set or even a bad optical light engine or fan or fans not running.

I have whit dots all over my tv how do you fix this problem

If the model number (Toshiba 65HM167) is correct the dots are a damaged Optical light engine. These early units were DLP but had a 1/4 of a million micro mirrors in the optical unit--if they do not open and close correctly you get dots---seen some with 15 or more dots.
