My alarm in the viking refrigerator keeps going

Hi,

As the weather is getting warmer for many people their freezer2_bing.gif and/or refrigerator do not work right because of a dirty condenser coil...

Check out this tip that I wrote about that... it is a great place to start trouble shooting your unit...and something that you can do rather then calling a repair person to do a simple thing for you...

Try cleaning the door seal and add a little lube to it with a soft cloth. If you need further help, reach me via phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/gary_9c859f4aa7e5ab10

Freezer lights not working.

Then it's the freezer door switch that controls the light. Although, modern fridges have electronic control boards designed to make your life miserable. Instead of a simple switch with a wire to a light bulb, you may have an entire computer board controlling it. The boards are _always_ expensive as heck. You can try applianceparts.com for replacement parts for your specific model. (It was the words "Professional Series" that gave me "pause" regarding the electronic wallet cleansing you may have to deal with. I'm sorry, but I'm an old appliance tech that has lived long enough to see these appliances become unnecessarily too expensive to repair a problem that would otherwise have been an incredibly simple and cheap to repair... and frequently not even need a new part. Technology does no favors for owners regarding appliances. It is a cheap way out for the manufacturers because electronic circuit boards made in China are cheaper than the electro-mechnaical devices they replaced, yet cost many hundreds of dollars to buy a replacement circuit board; which is quite literally a scam designed to make you buy a new appliance).

Our Viking Professional DFBB363RSS just stopped working and it has been barely used. Any suggestions?

Look for a switch turned off, or if that is not the case, a failed main circuit board.

Change door swing

Ok before you can do this you need to work out weather or not the fridge has provisions for it. first have a look on the top of the fridge and see if there are screw holes with plugs in them. if they do then check under the bottom skirt and see if they are there as we'll. if there is then you are in luck and you can do it very easily . make sure that all your goods are off the door first. release the bolts on the top and bottom and change the brackets around to where they need to be . with some fridges, you swap them around top to bottom, I'm not sure with this one but you will find out soon enough you will need a small socket set, screw drivers ,a level and about two hours.

Beeping - refrigerator not running---- power is on

NOTE: This
is a multi-solution answer since I don't have all the tech from your question to pinpoint your problem
But the solution is in here generically, if you read and study the solutions very, very carefully.

Sounds like the cold control has stuck . Unplug the two wires from the cold control and plug them together. Turn one wire over and plug it into the other. away from the cold control.
The cold control is the knob in the ref that turns it on and off and has numbers on it. (Thermostat)
If it runs then that cold control (Thernostat) is the problem.
If that doesn't work DO THIS:
The relay on the compressor may need replaced
A relay starts the compressor with a higher voltage and then quickly kicks out
Thats what is happening with yours
Its best for a tech to replace The relay but you can do it
Take your model number to your Local Appliance parts store they will have a diagram
showing you how to install the relay. Its called a hard start relay
also try hooking the two wires together on the cold control to route around the cold control.
