Did you check the belt(s)? If the belt isn't broken, see if it's stretched. Also, check to see if there is debris keeping the belt or brushes from turning. Sometimes, a piece of string will get caught and cause the brush to stop.

Do you happen to live where the water is hard? If so you have calcium deposits that is clogging the machine. put it in the tub... fill the water/solution tank with HOT vinegar. Let it sit a bit then plug it in and press the trigger several times until you get a good flow. Once all the vinegar is through the machine... put about a half tank of water through it as a rinse. If you can hear the pump going when you try to apply then you have a clog. If the pump can not be heard I would start with that and make sure all connections are good. If you want to get crazy put a meter on the pump side and the switch side. Switch could be bad as well.

Look for a blockage in the output of the liquid--where it comes from to where it exits the unit.
