Hoover spin scrub 50 leaking from bottom
Uh, may I encourage everyone to check the trigger under the handle...we went through taking the whole thing apart and it was just that the trigger was stuck in the open position, which poured the water out continually!

It may be soap residue not rinsed from the carpets. You may also have something in the brushes causing the lines.

That part has been discontinued. You should take it to your local vacuum repair shop to have it diagnosed. If the switch is actually at fault they can most likely help you with an alternate switch. It may not be the switch , so buying one would be a waste of money.
No water getting to brushs
Hi! Sometimes it is necessary to prime the trigger under the handle to get the solution flowing. To prime the trigger, recline the handle and pump trigger about 60 times. Then, power the cleaner on and squeeze the trigger for about 60 seconds. The solution should start to dispense. If it is still not dispensing there may be an issue with the pump assembly on the cleaner. We would recommend taking the cleaner in to a Hoover authorized service center for repair. Hoover brush and wash instruction manual
Hi there! To prepare for cleaning, put the solution and water in the top tank. While cleaning, all the dirty water gets sucked into the bottom tank. To clean squeeze trigger to release cleaning solution and slowly push carpet cleaner forward, this equals one wet stroke. Continue to squeeze trigger and slowly pull carpet cleaner back toward you (second wet stroke). Release trigger and slowly push carpet cleaner forward over area just sprayed with solution (dry stroke). Then slowly pull carpet cleaner back toward you without squeezing trigger (dry stroke). To avoid saturating the carpet don't do more than 4 wet strokes over one area. Always end with dry strokes. Here is a link to view the instruction manual if needed.
