How do i delete songs
Use Windows Media Player to put your songs on your Samsung.
Start Media Player, plug in your YP-K3 into the computer using your cord that came with the player. Media player will show your player, then just add your songs as you wish.
To Delete songs, pictures, ebooks, etc. Follow the directions below:
Hook up your mp3 player to your computer
Go to your desktop and double left click on "My Computer"
When it opens you will see listing that says "Devices with Removal
Storage" your mp3 player should be listed there.
Right click on your mp3 player, and a window will open, right click on
"Open" and now your files/songs should be visible.
Hold the left click down and drag it across all the files/songs that
you do not want this will highlight the files/songs you do not want,
release, right click and then click on "Delete"
Now your mp3 player should be clear of the files/songs you do not want.
Be careful and do not delete files needed to operate your MP3 player.

There is a reset button on the mp3 player. Try pressing it using a paperclick or a pin. After reset try to connect it back to your computer. Hope this helps.

Samsung YP-K3 MP3 Player Problem
For RTC error, open Windows Media Player and connect it. Windows media should offer to synch the clock. RTC stands for RealTime Clock
For License Error, this is to be expected around the same time every month. You see, when you transfer DRM protected music, a license is transferred as well. When you use a montly "all you can eat" plan, the licenses expiring every month keeps you from syncing all sorts of songs onto your device, then canceling your service, making away with free music.
Open your music service, connect the device, and synch a song to it. That should update all licenses.

Head phone socket intermitent and now failed. Any
the headphone jack would either be a 3 prong or a 4 prong. meaning it was either had 2 contacts on the headphone barrel or 3 contacts and the last prong being for ground. If you desolder the headphone jack you can easily determine this. Then you can goto a radio shack and pick one up for under 5 dollars. Problems that may come into play are is if they used a low profile jack over a standardized. But even if its 3.5mm or 2.5mm radio shack generally always sells them. You could also purchase them online. Most likely the cause is the contacts inside the headphone jack are no longer making contact with the barrel of the headphone plug. But if its not the headphone jack then it is possible the amp inside the unit has broken. also if you open the unit up determine if the solder on the headphone jack that makes the contact may have become cracked. If that is the case just heat up a soldering iron and make circles around the solder, but be careful not to spread the solder and cross connections.
