**Drag and Drop**
Connect your MP3 player to the computer. Some MP3 players connect directly to a USB port, while others connect to a USB port by way of a specific USB connector that comes with the MP3 player. Open the folder on the computer that contains the music files you want to transfer. This is usually the "My Music" folder, available from the "Start" menu, but it can be any folder where you save your music files. Scroll down to the song you want to transfer to the MP3 player. Right-click on the title. When the options are displayed, click on "Send To." Scroll down the "Send To" options and select your MP3 player. This can be listed as your MP3 player's name or as "Removable Drive." Click on this selection. Continue this process until you have transferred all songs that you want to your MP3 player.
--**Windows Media Player**--
If you have a large playlist to transfer, you may prefer to do it from your media player, such as Windows Media Player. Once your MP3 player is connected to the computer, open Windows Media Player. Click on the "Sync Music" tab. Drag songs that you want from your Windows Media Library over to the "Sync Music" column to create a playlist. Click the "Begin Sync" tab at the bottom once you have all of the songs on your playlist. This action will sync all of the songs to your MP3 player with one click. Disconnect your device once songs have been transferred by clicking on the "Safely Remove Hardware" icon in the bottom-right side of the desktop tray.

Go to the Samsung's website and download the latest driver for your player and follow the steps below to force install the driver:

1. Look for the icon named "Computer" or "My Computer" and right click on it and select properties, this will open a window named "System Properties".
2. In the system properties windows click on the tab named "Hardware", and Select "Device Manager".
3. On this window you will see all the devices installed on your computer, look for the device not working properly (printer, dvd rom, keyboard, camera, mp3 player, etc), if there is a bigger problem, more likely you will see a cross by it, or an alert stating there is an issue with it.
4. Right click on the device you where having problems with and select uninstall, it will give you a confirmation, press OK
5. Once the device disappeared from the list, click on the menu bar icon that looks like a computer with a magnifying glass this will cause for the system to scan for any devices not registered and will force the re installation of the device.

My tip though, is to install the latest firmware so you can use it in UMS mode (which would mean that you can use your program of choice to transfer music).

Reload the firmware. You can get that from the manufactures website and that will fuix all folder prblems inside your player. Before you do that make sure that your computer is showing hidden folders. You can fix that by going to tools >> folder options >> view >> change it to should hidden files and folders.

You can reset your samsung mp3 player. At the back or your player, lower part, look for the reset button, it is a small hole that could be pressed by a paperclip or any pointed object. while the player is on, try to press that and hold for 5 - 8 seconds until the player reset.

if it is not the charger itself then the charging port of the MP3 is bad then, it is either you give an engineer to repair for you or you take it to samsung customer service center for repair. But confirm first probably by using a new charger to see where the problem come from, because the problem maybe from the charger itself.

What you need to do is first connect your mp3 player to a computer that is running xp. This way we can figure out if it is the mp3 player or windows vista. If it is windows vista try and go to the manufactures website and see if they have a driver for windows vista. That is all I can really think of right now

use windows media player to first "rip" the music off the cd and convert it to mp3 or by default to wma then after its done ripping you can find the music in the library and drag and drop it to the sync list and update you mp3 player

Well, in my knowledge the USB cable might of gotten yanked out of the port and one of the 4 cords might of slipped on to the wrong power/transfer contact. If so it might of put out the wrong voltage to the battery and "fried" it so you might need to buy a new battery and cable to make the divice work again. Sorry for any inconvenience

I would think it is a little "dip " on the bottom that requires you to push it with a pen
