Apple iPod MA446LL/A MP3 Player Questions & Answers
IPod isn't doing anything.
I need a little more information. What model of iPad do you have? This is a common problem on certain iPads but don't worry we may not get it working with out having to put in a new board but I will at least get your music transferred. If you want to keep it after I figure out what the problem is and if you like fixing your own things I will walk you through each step it may be easier if I make you a video to follow replacing the part I believe is causing your problem. I need the model number also I need to know how many gigabytes it has. One last thing since you can't power it up right now how many apps are you running on it. I don't think at this time that's your problem but it's something that will help me to narrow the problem down. Oh one last question have you dropped it and if so what kind of case do you keep it in IE. a otter case etc.
we will get you going soon.
kevin.

How do yox fix a olympus digital voice recorder VN-8500PC, it just reads please wait?
I will assume you are not plugging it into a computer when it is reading this? If you have it plugged into a computer, I'd eject it properly from the computer. The next thing I would try doing is replacing the batteries or making sure they are fully charged if you are using rechargeable batteries. If you are using a memory card in it, I'd pull the card out and see if it powers on properly without the card. If so, you might have a bad card or your card might need re-formatted. If none of the above work, I'd removed the batteries, push and hold the power button for 10 seconds, put the batteries back in and power it back on without any memory card in it and see if it is working.

How fix
Try to reset by pressing and holding the center button and the menu button at the same time (about 5 seconds) until you see the apple symbol on the screen.

Ipod shuffle 2nd generation error 1429
I did some digging and came up with a possible solution. I plugged the iPod into my PC, brought up Device Manager, went to Disk Management, then looked for the iPod capacity in the list. I went through the stages of formatting it with Windows then I restarted the restore from iTunes. I was successful in being able to restore the iPod and getting the latest update installed. Hope this helps.
