I have a W560, but maybe it's the same on your camera. It was driving me insane as well. On my camera, I went to the menu, under Main Settings there was something called "Beep." It gave the options of "Shutter, High, Low, and Off." If I chose Shutter, then it keeps a shutter-like noise when you take a picture but turns off the annoying beep whenever you push any other button. I assume if you choose Off it will turn off all noises.Hope that helps!

Changing language settings on digital cameras sometimes can be confusing. We will have to make use of the menu symbols so that we can change the language from Japanese to English. The picture below shows us the navigation buttons that we will use in this process.
