How to defeat screen lock pattern.
Hi Ed Ling,
Unfortunately, if you forget your pattern lock and you can access through your gmail account the only option is to do a factory reset.
Best Regards,

My phone wount power on and instead makes a beep.
The beep is the boot loader. Which means that either the operating system cannot be found, or its kernel is is corrupt. This can be either from having a defective memory chip (rare, unless you left it in the sun, microwave or next to something radioactive ;), or a system/OS update that went badly wrong.Usually, it's the latter. If you are lucky, your boot loader can go to a special mode, where it can still boot up enough to load a new OS image. Usually by holding some special key combination or something while it boots up. But you have to look this up yourself, as it's very different for each line of devices. And last but not least, see if it still happens if you replace any battery, memory card, SIM card, or anything else that's replaceable. (You could borrow them from a friend. It's just for one minute, after all. :)If all of that fails, your only chance is to go to your mobile phone shop, and see if they can fix it right there or send it in. Let's hope it's not that bad. :)

Flight mode
WM phones, depending on their manufacturers and/or carriers, have a 'Comm Manager', or 'Wireless Manager'. In some of them it is located under 'Menu > Settings > Connections tab'. In others it is found under 'Menu > Programs'. Anyway, lauuch that setting or program. There should be a button to toggle each wireless service, individually, and another button, sometimes labeled 'All' or 'Fligh Mode' which toggles all wireless interfaces at once, i.e. if it is turned on, all interfaces will be turned off. Otherwise, only the ones which were already on, prior to the flight mode has been turned on, will be turned on when flight mode is turned off.Hope it works for you.Anyway, please, let me know if you need further informations.Regards,Carlos
