Why is my dvd player always saying wrong disc
When it says wrong disk there must be a reason why. To test the system, you should put in a bought DVD, not one you burned yourself on the computer. If that DVD does not give a message, you know the player is 100%.
What could be wrong with self made disks?
First a normal DVD has a silver or gold layer to reflect the light coming from the laser. A disk you can burn yourself, has a dye, which changes colour when the laser burns its info. It ls less and less reflective, compared with the silver or gold plated ones.
Then when you have burned the DVD's from your computer, with a video format, other then the DVD format, most DVD players can't play that. There is only one DVD format and there are hundreds or different (not with DVD compatible) video formats, you can play on computer and MP4 players.
I hope this is enough info for now.

My spectroniq dvd player[portable] keeps blinking
Sounds like a hardware problem.
Either the power supply or one of it's power on self checks is probably reporting a failure.
If it's still under warranty, call the manufacture technical or customer support
for a possible replacement.

Can't seem to get my dvd player to charge.
I have this model dvd player and it has worked very well for over a year. Lately it has not had a picture but has had sound when fully charged. When the green light is on, it is charging. When the light goes off, it is fully charged (or should be). I plugged the wall charger directly into the dvd player and it works fine with pic and sound. I think maybe the rechargable battery is on it last legs. I am looking for a longer cig lighter charger cord to reach the headrest so kids can watch from backseat. I will be able to keep it plugged in to charger at all times. Hope this helps!

I'm confused how to connect
Mukhhe,
good day,to connect your DVD to TV screen follow this steps.
1) prepare your RCA cable ( 3 colored cable yellow/red/white)
note: always remember this
yellow = video
red and white = Audio (left and right)
2) at the back or front display of your TV screen you'll see RCA socket
marked as "AV1 input" "AV2 input" etc... if your screen is only mono
sound you can only see two sockets Yellow=video white= audio
3) at the back of your DVD player connect the RCA cable following the
color code yellow to yellow white to white and red to red. after you
connect the cable to your dvd player now connect the other end of thr
RCA to your TV screen input.
make sure you'll connect it to "A/V input" not "A/V out" then after
connecting all the cables, from the remote commander of your TV screen
press a button indicating "A/V" some mark as "TV/AV" press this button
until your screen display the back ground display of your DVD player.
cheers,
mark

DVD player dropped, now Wrong Disc error
Bad news ** it may have damaged the Laser or knocked it out of alignment. A Electronic Tech would have to do that kind of repair.
Depending on what brand it is it may not be cost effective to repair. If it was made in China there will probably be no parts available

Disc problem
Does it have a plastic latching mechanism that may be broken? Does it operate when the cover is held closed or will the cover not move into the closed position, or does it move into the closed position and just not stay shut?
