You could possibly buy a new screen on Ebay but there about £18.00 or look for a faulty one on ebay which says faulty keys or look for one where you can see the picture working. It your not sure how to disassemble it just go here http://www.formymobile.co.uk/Dismantle/w810disassembly.htm

If your phone is still under warranty take it to your service providers store and have it replaced, they should also be able to transfer all of your info to the new phone there at the store also. If there is no warranty there are stores in local malls that can replace the cell phone and ipod screens.

You need to solve this by taking it to a SE service centre.

You can get the unlock code through online..........give your IMEI number and get the unlock code for ur mobile.... i will suggest the website Unlock-Zone.com which is doing good service .....you can approach this website.
This site is nearly perfect and they were recommended highly in the cell phone forums. I used them to unlock my cell phone. contacted them and within 30 mins i had my unlock code and my phone was unlocked.

More than likely you will need to replace the LCD screen. The backlight may have burned out making it blank.

A new LCD screen runs about 15 dollars shipped from ebay.

The W580i LCD screen is very easy to replace. Probably one of the easiest I have ever done.

sony ericsson phones have their own two-prong charger/data plug. You will need to purchase another AC charger, or you can purchase a plug that has a female USB and use that. Good luck!

this could be caused by a damaged memory card or a damaged memory card slot on your phone. the steps to take is this,before you do this, remember your phone cannot read any memory card above 4gb and in most cases it wouldn't even read more than 1gb..so if you are trying a bigger size, that could be the cause but if not, proceed below
1.try the memory card on another compatible phone or on a sony psp and see if the device detects it and if it does, the problem would be coming from youjr phone and not memory card.
2.trying using another memory card of the same type on your phone and see if it works out well for you.
3.try pulling out the memory card and see if there is anything like dust particles on the golden panel of the memory card(avoid touching the golden panels) try using a soft brush that is not wet with any liquid or lightly soaked in methylated spirit to clean the surface of the golden panels ensuring the liquid does not gain accces into the plastic casing.
after this, try using it again and see if it works.

Hi,problem can be solved. When a puk code is needed,it is only issued by the service provider of the network you are using to make your phone calls.

You can go to the nearest service provider outlet around you for help. You can also contact them through the phone by getting a friends phone that uses the same network as yours to contact the network provider forhelp.

And the exciting part,is that it is cost free to contact the network provider.

Once you get in touch with service provider,problem solved.

This depends on what software you are refering to. If you are talking about softwares downloaded on the mobile device you can go to applications select options click on remove and download a different one after removing.
If on the other hand you are looking to reload the firmware on your device you have to consult an expert as they have the required accessories and programs to get this done.

Initially update the firmware of the mobile.since white display may be caused due to firmware corrupt.If it was not fixed then check the lcd display of the mobile it may be damaged in that case you have to replace it.
Note:if you able to receive calls and make other functions when display is white then there is no need to update firmware
