Run hot water in the sink so that it is hot when it enters the washer. This is in case your heating element is not heating well enough. I realise this posting is not a solution but rather a possible clarification on previous advice.

This sounds like something came loose. Take it apart and inspect.

Your are right. There is a Barrier heater element to heat the water inlet part# AP2038346 to warm water prior to enter the dishwasher. The part is around $14. Maybe they don't want to fix it so it is a way to tell you to get around. Cheers.

I would check the water inlet valve Unlikely to be the sprayer arms unless you have a TON of mionerals in your water...
