Why does the top oven not heat up, and bottom oven works fine

Good Morning Friend, I understand that the top oven does not heat up in your Frigidaire oven, but the bottom oven works fine. I suggest resetting your appliance, by either unplugging it or shutting the power off at your home's circuit breaker, for 3-5 minutes. Restore power and set the clock. Try preheating the top oven. I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your appliances status has changed successfully. If further troubleshooting is needed, please provide me with the model number of your air conditioner. Hope this is helpful. -Best Regards- WP

Thank you for your inquiry, Sam Aghajan!

I see that your Frigidaire range has went through a self-cleaning and the door will not open. It sounds like a possible issue with the door latch or control panel. I understand that you have reset your range and performed a second self-clean. I would suggest holding down the cancel/clear button for five to ten seconds. This should help to unlatch the door. You can also perform a self-clean cycle and before the cycle starts clear it out and that should help to release the door. If that does not work I would recommend contacting a professional technician to come out and repair the latch. Good luck. -Matt

Thank you for your inquiry, Bego?a Rebolledo-Kaufman!

From the information you have provided you are experiencing an issue with your Frigidaire double oven not heating. It sounds like a possible problem with your element or thermostat. I would suggest to perform a reset on your range, to see if that would help correct any miscommunication within the electrical components. In order to reset your range you would need to flip the household circuit breaker off for ten minutes. Where is the breaker to the oven is it a certain breaker that controls the oven or s it the breaker controls the house like the lights and the TV and the main things that controls the house

The breaker for the over is normally in the main house fuse panel. Be very careful when working on any electrical feed for your oven, that is normally a 240v outlet.

Frigidaire Oven door wont open after self clean cool down

Good Morning Marlyn Allen, thanks for your post!

Based off the information you have provided your Frigidaire oven door will not open after it has cooled down. I would hold down the clear or cancel button for ten seconds that should release the door. If that does not work I would perform a reset on your oven and you can do that by disconnecting the power from it for approximately ten minutes. You can also perform another self-cleaning cycle and before it starts cancel the self-cleaning and then wait for ten seconds and the door should release. If you follow these steps and the door does not open it could be a faulty door latch and that would need to be replaced by a technician. Best of luck! -Matt

How do I unlock stuck lock?

Thank you for your post, friend!

I see that you are having some challenges with your Frigidaire range. On your control panel if you have a "Clear" or "Cancel" button you can hold that down for five to ten seconds and it should release the latch. You can also hold down the light switch button on the oven door frame and the cancel button simultaneously for five to ten seconds to see if that would correct the problem. Last, I would perform a reset on your range which can be done by disconnecting power from the range for ten minutes. I hope this has been helpful. -Matt

Oven PLEF398ACA

I have the same problem with the LR, it is on all time and do not go off. What I did was to disconnect the yellow wire from the SF5601 power board terminal P3. Now I can use the other three burner until I got a new board. I don't have the circuit schematic but my diagnostic is that the board integrated output relay contacts are welded together. That is why the burner element is on all the time and or intermittent. THE VERDICT: The solution is to replace the surface power board SF5601

My oven's bake mode will not work, bu the broil mode does

Good Afternoon Friend, this is Z. Thank you for your post! Based on the symptoms you are describing, you may either have a communication error from the EOC (Electronic Oven Control) or faulty bake element. Let's try resetting your oven. You can do this by either unplugging it or the household circuit breaker off. It is best to wait approximately and then wait ten minutes. If resetting the power does not correct the issue, I would suggest contacting an experienced service technician to determine the precise cause. Best regards!

My oven is keep beeping and I can't cancel it

Good Morning Friend, that's a great question! Typically error code F10 indicates that your Frigidaire range has detected an issue with the runaway temperature (overheating). Let's attempt reprogramming your range by either unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. It is best to wait roughly ten minutes and then turn on your range. Usually this will clear most false error codes. If issue persists, at this moment I would suggest contacting a professional to proceed further. Most likely the RTD Probe (Resistance Temperature Detector) or the EOC (electronic oven control) will need replacing. Hope this helps! - Z

F13 code

Hello friend, thank you for your post!

Based off the information you have provided your question is under an "F13" error code but you also stated that it is showing you an "F1" error. I have researched both error codes for you. "F13" usually indicates error identification, which could be an issue within your control board. "F1" typically can indicate that the range has detected an issue with the runaway temperature (overheating). Both codes could be corrected with a reset, which you can do by flipping the household circuit breaker for roughly ten minutes. If that does not correct the issue I would recommend contacting a professional. I hope this is helpful. -Matt

I HAVE A F30 ERR DISPLAY ON BOARD AND THE DOOR IS LOCKED. HOW DO I RESET AND GET DOOR OPEN?

Hello Friend, this is Z. I am happy to assist you! If you are getting an error code F30 on your Frigidaire range, it usually indicates an issue with a faulty sensor probe or a wiring harness between the sensor probe and EOC (Electronic Oven Control). You may try and reset your range by disconnecting the power or by flipping the circuit breaker off and back on after 10 minutes. This often clears most false error code. If the error code does not clear, most likely the EOC of your range will need replacing. I am fairly confident that an authorized service agent will be able to restore your appliance to its normal operating condition. You can often locate a qualified service technician on the manufacturer website.
