I have a frigidaire ffef3017zw 30" freestanding electric range and the stove top and the oven wont heat. The lights come on but nothing works.

Good Afternoon Larz, thank you for your post! From the information you have provided the cooktop and oven on your Frigidaire range, FFEF3017ZW, are not working. This could be an internal issue with your control panel, a wiring harness, or the terminal black. Since it could be an issue with the electrical component, I would suggest having a professional technician out for a proper diagnosis. This will help you to avoid any unnecessary part purchases or improper disassembly of the range. I hope this information is helpful. -Matt

To check sensor harness between EOC &sensor probe what do i set the ohms meter at

Hello Jim, I appreciate your post! Based off the information you have provided you would like to know the where to set the ohms meter to check the sensor and EOC (electronic oven control) on your Frigidaire oven. In order to research this information further I would need to have your model number. You can locate your model number on a wall oven on the inside left hand wall or the door frame. If this is a range you would need to pull out the bottom drawer and it is located on the door frame. Once I have that information I would be able to assist you further. -Matt

My Frigidaire PLEB30S9FCC WALL OVEN

The exploded parts diagram can be found here: http://www.searspartsdirect.com/model-number/PLEB30S9FCC/1428/0125300.html. Look for part designation 119. It is a **resettable** thermal switch. There is a little red button on the top that you press in and feel/hear a click of the breaker being reset. The part number is 318004900. You will have to remove the oven from the wall, remove the back cover panel and locate it. If you are unsure or hesitant about doing any of this, CALL FOR SERVICE!

Where can I buy an oven sensor for model FGF355CGBF  Frigidaire self cleaning oven.

The part you need is 316111202. Any good appliance parts store or website should be able to locate one for you. Your sensor should have about 1100 ohms at room temperature. Check the connector first before replacing sensor. They are notorious for causing problems. The only things that control temp is the sensor and the main board. If the sensor and wiring check good, then the main board is defective.

Thank you for your post, Chrissie!

I understand that your Frigidaire duel fuel oven is not heating properly. I see that you have replaced your temperature sensor and heating elements and your oven is still not working. This could be a possible issue with your control panel or wiring harness. Since it could be anyone of these underlying issues I would recommend having a professional technician out. This will help you avoid any unnecessary part purchases. Hopefully this is helpful information. -Matt
