Dial doesn't advance

You don't want to replace the timer switch just for that. If it is under warranty, get it done ASAP.
If not, wait till you have a real problem with the timer, like it not running, or doesn't cycle completely.
Then the switch will have to be replaced and you'll miss that tick tick ticking.

Cycle times

If you remove the front lower panel with 2 phillps screws (one on each front end) and lift up and forward, you should find a information sheet folded. It is glued at one end so you will have to look at it with the base panel off; but, it shows you by graph how long the cycle is and what is operating at the time. Good info to understand how the electrical runs the mechanical aspects and definitely how your timer switch assy works as it cycles around.
I could tell you the time, but I would have to open one myself and you're the one with the machine.

How to remove lower spray arm and center plate cover?

You can lift the center cover plate up about 3/4 inch and check it out with a flash light before going through the trouble removing everything. Most likely all the foil can be removed this way. The rest is gone down the drain.

Kenmore Elite ultra wash dishwasher

When it is off, reach down around the base of the spray assy and run your fingers around the entire circular base where junk can get caught. I've found broken glass and plastic utensils. Why do some of us wash disposable utensils? Huh? You may find something like a piece of plastic, glass, or the like that is making the noise. Be careful not to cut yourself.

If this buzzying sound is not coming from the tub, and is actually below the tub and in front right side, it is most likely the electrical relay switch ( which can make that sound when it is straining or failing).

Motor loud

If it sounds like a vibratio :Motor needs to be removed, remounted and balanced.

If it is high pitched or squeeling : It may be the pump., either way replace the assy since you're going to be in there taking it apart anyway.

Does not advance to drain cycle

I would bet that it is the timer switch assy.
Motor runs ? yes
washes? yes
drain tube clear ? yes

If there is no drain valve to deal with, the problem must be the contacts during the timer cycle, since the main obviously works or you wouldn't be able to wash anything.
you need a new timer switch assy.

Soap does not desolve

check that the spray arms are turning and that the holes in them are not clogged, if you line them up pointing towards the front let the machine fill then as it starts to wash open the door and you should see the arms slowing down, if they are okay then check the water level which should just lap the filter at the bottom

Won'Run Wash Cycle

JB, make sure the float assy. is not stuck inside the tub. On the motor harness, you have yellow-main, red-drain grey-wash and blue is the common. Check for power to the motor during the wash cycle. On this model I believe they installed a thermal cut out after series 11. I'll keep an eye peeled for any replies..Catriver.

WATER LEAKS UNDER THE SINK WHEN DISHWASHER IS IN

Check the connection to the drain tailpiece from the dishwasher under the sink and make sure the clamp hasn't slipped off and is tight. Check the drain hose from the dishwasher and be sure it's not split or damaged. Check the drain spur on the drain tailpiece and see if it's corroded or leaking. Check the trap under the sink as well and make sure it's not leaking.
