Water not coming out hot

If you have a hot water tap on the brewer, then most likely the thermal fuse is blown. You can get one from www.bunn.com. It's above and almost behind the tank, and most likely brown by now

Pot continually fills on or off. trips breaker.

inlet valve is stuck open. remove the front plate and locate the inlet valve in the front at the bottom. shut off the water supply and unplug the brewer. remove the nut and solenoid, and, using a crescent wrench, remove the valve shaft. take out the small metal plunger with the spring and stretch out the spring a bit. clean out any residue and put it all back together.

Adjust bunn coffee maker water level

To adjust the brew volume/batch size you will need to access the main circuit board behind the front panel. Isolate the machine before removing panels. NOTE: Check that the brewer is connected to water supply, the tank is properly filled and a funnel and server or decanters are in place prior to setting or modifying batch sizes.
  1. Modifying batch sizes: To modify a batch volume, first check that the SET/LOCK switch is in the "SET" position on the circuit board. If the brewer has a batch selector switch, position it to the size to be changed. To increase a batch size: Press and hold the START or BREW switch until three clicks are heard. Release the switch (Failure to release the switch within 2 secs after the third click causes the volume setting to be aborted and previous volume setting will remain in memory) and press it again one or more times. Each time the switch is pressed, 2 secs are added to the brew time period. Allow the brew cycle to finish in order to verify that the desired volume has been achieved. To decrease a batch size: Press and release the START or BREW switch once for every 2 sec interval to be removed from the total brew time period; then immediately press and hold down the START or BREW switch until three clicks are heard. Release the switch. (Failure to release the switch within 2 secs after the third click causes the volume setting to be aborted and previous volume setting will remain in memory). Allow the brew cycle to finish in order to verify that the desired volume has been achieved.
  2. Setting batch sizes: To set a batch volume, first check that the SET/LOCK switch is in the "SET" position on the circuit board. Press and hold the START or BREW switch until three clicks are heard (this will take approx. 10 secs) and then release the switch. (Failure to release the switch within 2 secs after the third click causes the volume setting to be aborted and previous volume setting will remain in memory). View the level of the liquid being dispensed. When the desired level is reached, turn the ON/OFF switch to "OFF". The brewer remembers this volume and will continue to brew batches of this size until the volume setting procedure is repeated. Empty server(s), turn selector switch to positions that have yet to be set and repeat batch setting procedure until all batch sizes are set. NOTE: When brewing coffee, batch volumes will decrease due to absorption by the coffee grounds.
  3. Setting programming disable feature: If it becomes necessary to prevent anyone from changing brew times once programmed, you can set the SET/LOCK switch to the "LOCK" position. This will prevent any programming to be done. NOTE: If the clicks cannot be heard, lightly grip the incoming water line to feel when the valve cycles on and off.

Bunn model cwf15 overflows

There are several reasons why it could overflow. Check to make sure you still have the spray head on the unit. If you do, the level might be set wrong. Reset the level and see if that corrects your problem.

Followed the directions to adjust

While holding down the switch you will hear the solenoid start and stop 3 times. You should have to hold down the switch for about 10 seconds to get the program started. Make sure the white lever on the board is not on the L.

Pot only filling half way

If pot used to fill all the way then check the filter if one is installed and the restrictor on the back of the tank, you can also run the deliming spring through the brew tube.
If the pot never filled all the way then remove the front panel and use the instructions to reprogram the brewer.

Does the light have to

It is best to wait for the machine to return to full temperature. It shouldn't be more than a minute or two after the last pot is done dripping. It will brew though and the water will be fairly hot for one more pot. Too many in succession will not brew well at all since the temp is and important factor in GOOD coffee.

If your ready light is on and your water is not warm... sounds like the thermostat is too low. Inside the front panel (behind the brew basket) there is a thermostat adjustment on the left-hand side. If you turn that up your ready light should shut off. You can then adjust the temp to your desired level. (194-200 degrees depending on roast, grind, etc...)

Water doess not get hot in tank replaced element

There are 2 possible reasons for that, it could be the limit thermostat on the boiler between the element terminals, check that with an ohms meter. Secpnd it could be the inline thermal fuse connected on the leg of the element to the green light, use meter the check for resistance between ends of wire.

Try this, use the manual fill in the top of the machine, remove the sprayhead, put an airpot under machine and pour water into the machine at least 3 liters, until it pours out of brew tube. If that works, then the problem lies in the solenoid or the ling bringing water to the machine.
