Its set up for natural gas is there a kit to make
yes, probably behind unit down at bottom right lookng at back of unit, it is a bunch of orifices in a metal bracket that you have to remove, pull out bottom door and access screws that hold them in there, instructions are in owners manual but dont forget to switch over the regulator and screw back over orfices all the way untill they stop or you''ll get soot in oven

Jenn-Air JGR8855BDS Gas to propane conversion
propane is higher pressure than natural gas, there should be some orifices on the stove for the top burners, some have them near the top in a metal clip, some have them in a lower location, usually you can see them from the back of the stove. the oven and broiler may only need "tightened down", and the air blend will probably need adjusting for "flame color", you don't want yellow flame tips, good luck!

Oven does not heat up
We may have found it - google Maytag Gas and Electric Range Service Manual (1997 models to present) and save it as a PDF to your desk top. Then print out the PDF pages # 18, 25 & 26, 52, 62 65 & 66. Those pages sound exactly like the problem we're having, which sounds identical to the problem you're having. We now suspect the issue is the gas valve heater coil and the volts it needs for ignition. Because without enough volts, the ignitor won't ignite (like, duh?). The specific PDF page is # 66 in reference to the Glow Bar Operation item # 4. If we're right, we'll need to get three small parts, totaling about $60 in all. Let's hope this is the solution!

Tappan Range Model TGF351ESJ Nat. Gas to Propane
Yes you can convert the range
2. Provide an adequate gas supply.
This unit is pre-set to operate on 4" natural gas manifold
pressure. Aconvertible pressure regulator is connected to the
manifold and MUST be connected inseries with the gas supply
line. If the LP/Propane conversion kit has been used, follow
instructions provided with the kit for converting the pressure
regulator to LP/Propane use. The LP kit can be found on the
back side of the range (some models).
I yours does not have the kit on back go to sears to get one.
Good Luck
