My cuisinart coffee maker isn't working. I set it up and turned it on. The light came on, but nothing happened. Is there anything I can check or do?

We have a cuisinart coffee center and the clean light is always on on the single cup side. Even after following the cleaning instructions it won’t go out. About every third cup it just runs water thru and doesn’t make coffee. Any ideas? Filters changed.

How can I remove the handle on a Cuisinart coffee carafe?
Hello, Kathryn - There is no guarantee that if you try to remove the handle from the used carafe you found at a thrift store, that you will not inadvertently break that "new" carafe. Personal opinion: I would not try it because I would not want to chance not having any carafe at all. Best wishes.
