Kichenaid electric stove

the probe is put into the oven to sense heat and to prevent the oven from oveheating during normal operation. the reason the probe is beeping is because it's dislogged or needs to be replaced.

the only way to make the beeping stop is to disable it but i wouldn't recommend it.

have a technician run a diagnostic on the stove. sounds like the probe needs to be replaced.

Jenn-Air Gas-Electric Grill Ranfe with Convection Oven M# SVD48600

if possible, squat down in front of the range and put your ear as close to the bottom of the control panel/top of the door when you close it. there is a small motor that pulls the door in when you use the self-cleaning function. perhaps that motor is running all the time? its quite, more of a humm. this could explain why its locking itself. other than that, my convection oven JennAir has a small fan in the back that runs when the oven is on, regular or convections mode. you can see this fan squirel cage in the back wall of the oven. if you were to pull the range out, you will notice (atleast on mine) that there is another much smaller fan on the backside of the range behind the removable metal panel. what the smaller fan is for, i have no idea. so there are two fans, plus if you have the down draft feature, thats 3 total. hope this helps somehow.

Numbers

This is the same problem I'm having with my Jenn-Air electronic touchpad. I see you posted on Nov 26, 2007, but don't see an answer. I just posted my problem today (Jan 2, 2008) and hope to get a response. I have in the past had to have something behind the touchpad replaced, for a different problem. I don't like these touchpads, and would rather have mechanical controls as I had on my other 2 Jenn-Air ranges. If your warranty is still good, call and get it taken care of before it gets expensive. Since I didn't have any more problems for a couple years I didn't continue to purchase Sears' warranty. Now will try to fix it myself. I think a $1500 machine should be better built. One thing I did read, not on this site, but elsewhere, was to be careful to not get any kind of liquid on the panel. How does one do that and keep the steam and splatter cleaned up?!!!

Jenn-air JGS9900 downdraft slide in gas range - no power and electrical outlet IS working

There are several possible reasons why your Jenn-air JGS9900 gas range may not have power:
  1. Tripped Circuit Breaker: Check the circuit breaker for the range in your home's electrical panel to see if it has tripped. If it has, reset it.
  2. Loose Electrical Connection: Check the power cord connection to the range to make sure it is secure. Also, check the wiring connections behind the range to ensure they are properly connected.
  3. Blown Fuse: If your range has a fuse, check to see if it has blown. You may need to replace it.
  4. Faulty Control Board: The control board is responsible for supplying power to the range's electronic components. If the control board is faulty, it may need to be replaced.
  5. Faulty Igniter: If the burners are not igniting, the igniter may be faulty and need to be replaced.
If none of these solutions work, it may be best to contact a professional technician to diagnose and fix the issue.

Jenn-Air jgs8860bdp broiler doesn't ignite.

There are a few potential issues that could cause the problems you're experiencing with your Jenn-Air broiler. Here are a few things you can try:
  1. Make sure the gas supply to the broiler is turned on and that there are no blockages in the gas line.
  2. Check the gas valve to make sure it is open and functioning properly.
  3. Make sure the gas burners are clean and free of any debris or obstruction.
  4. Check the broiler burner for proper ignition. It should ignite within a few seconds of turning on the broiler. If it does not, the burner orifice may be clogged and will need to be cleaned.
  5. Check the gas pressure to the broiler. If the gas pressure is too low, it can cause the flames to be low or go out.
  6. Make sure the broiler igniter is properly seated and connected.

Model 8114P955-60. When oven self-cleaning is selected, why does it indicate 'FEATURE IS NOT AVAILABLE'?

Usually a problem with the door lock. Self cleaning cycles invariably break things due to the extreme heat (650'F). I advise NEVER to use them.

We have an approximately 12 year old Jenn-Air downdraft range JDS9860AAP. Serial #22175370GJ. The oven & control panel is shutting off intermittently. Error code F0-0 appeared once.

F0 is usually a stuck keypad button. Sometimes it's a problem with the wiring between the electronic oven control board and the keypad. With this model, it looks like the keypad and control board are sold as a single unit . See https://www.jennairreplacementparts.com/Shop-For-Parts/a13b103d563627/Model-JDS9860AAP-Jenn-Air-Range-Stove-Oven-Parts . You need the series 17 and later control board and timer, WP5760M302-60 . This part is roughly $400 from most vendors. https://www.partselect.com/Models/JDS9860AAP/Sections/CONTROL-PANEL-TOP-ASSEMBLY-AAP/?ModelID=91339&ModelNum=JDS9860AAP&mfgModelNum=&ManufactureID=1&Selected=53345&Position=3&mfg=Maytag&Type=Range&Mark=3 is another source. I hope this helps. Cindy Wells

Burners on my Jenn-Air JDS9860AAP are slow to ignite but work fine after a few seconds. It seems the gas flow is low at first before becoming normal. Am I right to think it is the regulator?

slow lighting is not all that uncommon on these ranges. Make sure the burners are clean and that you can see the spark at each ignitor. If that is OK, check the gas pressure to the burners.
