How to muliply fractions with whole number
You should multiply the top line only of the fraction.
eg 2/3 x 5 = 10/3
This will often give an improper fraction, that is, one with the numerator (top line) greater than the bottom (denominator). Its value is then greater than one.
You can then reduce this by dividing the bottom into the top line, and writing the remainder as a fraction
eg 10/3 = 3 and 1/3

What's the meaning of media in math?
- The median is also the number that is halfway into the set. To find themedian, the data should first be arranged in order from least to greatest. To remember the definition of a median, just think of the median of a road, which is the middlemost part of the road.

What would 0.0069550866 round to as the nearest hundredth?
As I remember it you imagine the decimal point as a 1 and the next figure is tenths and the one after is hundredths. The figure you have is 6 thousandths, almost 7 thousandths.
If you must round it to hundredths it would be 0.01.

Convert 91/92 to a decimal round to the hundredths
The answer is .989130 For those of you who haven't passed grade school math just divide 1 by 92, then multiply that answer by 91 =.989130. You can do the rounding because I have to take a nap. It's really hard to tax my mind that much at 75. LOL.

Which number under 100 has the most primed factors
Hi johnhboland
Prime numbers are 2,3,5,7,11,13,17,23 .........
Take different combinations from the above list and multiply making sure you don't exceed 100
2x3x5 =30
2x3x7 =42
2x3=11 =66
2x3x13 =78
2x5x7 =70
I would say the answers are 30, 42, 66, 78, and 100 all have 3 prime factors
If repetition of the same factor is allowed:
answers would be 64 and 96 both having 6 prime factors
Have a good day

I have a starting amount of $2,125. I invest some of it in a bank that pays 4% a year and some in another back that pays 5% a year. After one year I have earned $100. How much money did I invest in ea
There are 2 values for interest, say R and r, and R = 0.05, r = 0.04
There are 2 values for the amount earned, from the 2 banks, say I and i, and we know I + i = 100
There are 2 values for principal invested, say P and p, and we know P + p = 2125
There is only one value for period, say t = 1
So then I = P * 0.05 * 1 and
i = p * 0.04 * 1 and
I + i = 100 and
P + p = 2125
then
0.05P + 0.04p = 100
P + p = 2125
P = 2125 - p
0.05 ( 2125 - p) +0.04p = 100
106.25 - 0.05p + 0.04p = 100
106.25 - 0.01p = 100
0.01p = 6.25
p = 625
so
P = 2125 - 625 = 1500
so the amounts were $1500 and $625
