If the fridge is overcooling it could be the thermostat. If the defrost panel is permanently switched on, overcooling might not be noticed but the condenser will become quite hot. If running continuously, there is no overcooling and the condenser remains cool, either the compressor is defective or the refrigerant has leaked away.

hi sounds like the freezer part has an ice blockage the clicking may well be the fan chipping at ice and no air flow will mean the freezer is partialy working yey not allowing cold air to fridge if this is the case to proove point give unit a good defrost for as long as possible then turn unit back on if this works it will require a service engineer to check the defrost cycle of the unit is no longer failing good luck

Turn the power off to the refrigerator and manually defrost the freezer until the freezer bis no longer cold and then replug the power cord .APPLIANCE 911

As warm air rises and cold air falls it is safe to say that the best way to store your food is to place it in the most appropriate shelf compartment, as shown in the diagram below.

• Zone A - Cool Dairy Products, Cheese, Butter, Margarine, Low Fat Spreads, Cooking Fats/Lards, Preserves, Jams, Curs, Marmalade, Salad Dressing or Sauces
• Zone B - Colder General Food Storage
• Zone C - Coldest Meat, fish & poultry, Pre-cooked/chilled food
• Zone D - Salad Bin, Vegetables, Fruit and Salad Items

Does the fridge still do it's job? If it does then perhaps the fan only comes on when needed.

Zero is cold enough. Fridge gets its cold air from the freezer Make sure that the passage between the two are not blocked'

If there is one it would be on dispenser control.

The drain in the freezer behind back lower panel
needs opening. You can see it at the bottom of the back panel
underneath the evaporator coils. (The cold coils)
Run Hot water in the drain until it clears or use a hairdryer.
When the defrost melts the water it goes down the drain
If the drain is clogged with Ice or ? The defrost water
overflows into the ref. or freezer or on floor
Run Hot water in the drain until it clears or use a hairdryer.
Also check fan undernearh Ref in the rear
Clean condenser coils underneath

Most likely cold control thermostat is bad and needs replacing

Make sure that the fan is not obstructed and the area is clean. I know a man who bought a new freezer because his old one quit working. While taking out the old one, found a mouse stuck in the fan. Cleaned everything up and the freezer worked for 10 more years.

Check the small fan that blows cold air from the freezer to the refrigerator and replace if it is not working.
