Frig. is bussing

it sounds like your water valve for your icemaker. if you do not have it hooked to water, it makes a lot more noise. try turning off your icemaker and see if the noise quits.

Hotpoint side by side has recently bugun making a lot of noise

Check for frost in the freezer compartment that may suggest a defrost problem which would cause it to run for extended times and make more noise. The other possibility is that if the fan is making a up and down type of noise, it will need a new fan in the freezer section due to a faulty bearing in the motor.

Water despencer does not get cold water

The first glass of water may be warmer depending on size due to the tubing that runs under the warm underside of the refrigerator. if you run a couple glasses and it is still warm, then I would check your refrigerator tempurature as that is where the water resevoir is located.

Where is the filter located for the ice and water for the Hotpoint CSX24GR side by side Refrigerator? And what is the part number so I can order the part? Thank you!

It looks like your model doesn't have an internal filter. Not all of them do, and if you want to filter the water you add an external unit fixed to the wall. https://www.google.com/search?q=Hotpoint+CSX24GR+replace+filter There is a number of models that start CSX24 this is the 24X and says it is an optional extra. https://www.manualslib.com/manual/690660/Hotpoint-Csx24x.html?page=12&term=Water+Filter&selected=1#manual ..

Hotpoint NCD191 fridge freezing at back but not cooling

In some cases the board and or adaptive defrost board may be located on the back of fridge. there will be a plte covering it, as for evaporator coild they cnnot be covered in insulation but will have a plastic cover that has to be removed to get to them. u wont have a timer if u hve an adaptive defrost board. as per utr problem sounds like a defrost issue, in which case check heating element, defrost terminator, and make sure evap fan is working also, lastly check manual timer by setting it to defrost , wait 30 minutes then check to see if ithe fridge ts back on showing timer is working. if its adaptive board instead of timer you need specil tools to check it. Also check to make sure compressor stays on during cycle and not clicking isound n back? see pics defrost setup-undefined-undefined-0_1.jpg defrost thermostat test -undefined-undefined-1_0.jpg defrost timer location defrost terminator-undefined-undefined-2_8.jpg defrost timer testing defrost timer pins-undefined-undefined-3_1.jpg defrost timer refigerator temp control and defrost timer-undefined-undefined-4_0.jpg

Problem with drawer configuration. I have a Hotpoint Freezer. Model FZA84.

Does the problem move with the drawer when you shuffled them or did it do the same thing in the same position? If it moved it's the drawer causing the issue, if it stayed in the same place it's the freezer itself. Empty the offending drawer and have a good look at it. A lot of front panels on freezer drawers are a 'push on' fit so check the front is clipped on correctly on both sides. Next check the runner rails and back panel of the area that drawer goes into. It might be something as simple as a lump of ice or something stuck to the side/back or a something in the drawer above or below blocking it.

Can you disconnect the ice maker only on a hotpoint ctx21ga refrigerater

Yes, you can disconnect the ice maker on a Hotpoint CTX21GA refrigerator. Here are the general steps to follow:
  1. Unplug the refrigerator from the electrical outlet or turn off the power at the circuit breaker.
  2. Locate the water supply line that runs from the back of the refrigerator to the ice maker. It is typically a flexible plastic or copper tube.
  3. Find the valve where the water supply line connects to the refrigerator. It may be located behind a panel or cover.
  4. Turn off the water supply to the refrigerator by closing the valve. You may need to turn it clockwise to shut it off.
  5. Disconnect the water supply line from the valve by loosening the compression nut or other connector.
  6. Locate the ice maker inside the freezer compartment. It is usually mounted on the back wall or ceiling.
  7. Unplug the ice maker's electrical connector by pulling it out of the socket.
  8. Remove any screws or mounting brackets that hold the ice maker in place and gently pull it out of the freezer compartment.
  9. If you wish to permanently remove the ice maker, you can disconnect the wiring harness and remove the mounting bracket.
  10. If you plan to reconnect the ice maker in the future, you can leave the wiring harness connected and store the ice maker in a safe place.
  11. Reconnect the water supply line to the valve and turn the water supply back on.
  12. Plug the refrigerator back in or turn the power back on at the circuit breaker.

  4. Carefully lift the fast freeze flap off of its hinges and set it aside.
  5. Take the new fast freeze flap and place it in the same position as the old one, making sure the hinges are aligned properly.
  6. Secure the new fast freeze flap in place using the screws or clips that you removed earlier.
  7. Close the freezer compartment door and return any food or items to the freezer.
