What is this ? On the back of Power Acoustik 500w subwoofer

Sub-woofers work on a low hertz as per audio. You have a built-in amp that has a crossover that separates frequencies under 100 Hz. Typical Hertz range is between 20-60. Since you have a built-in amp the black rectangle is a heat sink which helps to dissipate heat away from the internal components and also seconds as a cover to keep debris and other foreign objects from getting to the amp and burning it out. Hope this helps.

What type of fuse should I use I have a 1000watt power acoustik

Ohm's Law says watts / volts = amps, so 1000/12 is 83+change -- damn! I hope you have a big, phat alternator! So fuses have to be rated somewhat higher than device load, you need a 90 amp or 100 amp fuse -- what style I couldn't even begin to guess, normal automotive fuses don't go that high. If this is a new install, make sure your power wires are heavy enough to handle the load. A fuse's job is to blow before the wiring catches fire. The longer the wire is, the thicker it must be. Electrical fire is a catastrophe so make sure your wiring is adequate -- I know it's hard to believe but the power wire is actually more important than the speaker wire!

I have a Power Acoustik Dem0n II 6000w amp. Every few seconds or so, it cuts off. In addition to the constant power outages, the amp is almost always hot. Can someone tell me what the problem might be

be sure the amp is located in a well ventilated area as heat build up can cause a safety override to cut power once temp. reaches a certain point. amps do generate heat though so if you dont think its cutting out due to excessive heat building up, i'd definitely get a power capacitor to help keep a steady supply of electrical energy available for instances where the bass hits really hard or for prolonged periods of time. if you have a power cap already make sure it doesnt need to be upgraded to function properly. hope this helps!

Amp stuck in protect mode.

Disconnect all speaker connections and rca cables. Leave power, ground and remote wires intact. Try turning on again. If you still have a protection light your amp is faulty. Hopefully you have warranty. Double check all connections. Good Luck.A thumbs up would be greatly appreciated if this answer is helpful to you. Worth fixing. amp-stuck-in-protect-mode-flhv0giodkaywsjitcb2uyf1-2-0.jpg

My power acoustik ptid-6250 will not cut on anymore. I was listening to it and it started going in out. Then all of sudden it just went out and won't come back on. How do I fix it ?

Going in and out sounds like the antenna cable got loose, but the not turning on sounds like the fuse blew. Worth checking those 2 things out first and foremost. Do you still have your owner's manual? If not: http://www.poweracoustik.com/pa2012/manuals/PTID-6250.pdf

How do i stop a power acoustik pd-450 from randomly shutting off? Ive checked connections and wiring all is good, the power supply is good as well

how random is it? Make sure the radio is grounded properly. Look in the pin outs in the harness and make sure there is a ground there. Also, you may have 1, 2, 3, or 4 bad speakers. A short in any one speaker will send the radio in protect mode. Also, If your radio is seeing less than something around a 3ohm load (technically 4) it will protect itself as well. How can i get a harnest and plug for power acoustik PTID-4003 car video player

Call Power Acoustik and tell them you had it for a few years and used it in a few cars so the harness has been chopped so short you need to get a new one. I'm sure if it was originally yours, they will want a receipt for the stereo brand new and they may sell it to you if it is available. If not, I sell new Soundstream Stereos at a very low discounted rate, as well, Power Acoustik. Check out the link below, we are the lowest price online for any of their products because we are closing all of the products out since they have driven the product line down to portray them as low as Dual and Craig., as a matter of fact, the products are all great, but, they do not protect their dealers and allow distributors to sell them online on Ebay, cheaper than the delaer's cost with free shipping, which has driven us away from them because we can't make a profit. Anyway, they should be able to sell you one, if not, give me a call or check our site, we sell their distributed products as well and may have a harness available on the website. Amp shuts off then on

It's getting so hot that it's going into thermal protection. Turn down the gains of lighten the speaker load. The more speakers that hook up to it the more power it will put out causing the amp to overheat. Eventually it will burn up some of the output Mosfett Power Transistors.

Screen flips and the turns off

Assassin's Creed IIICapturing a sense a serious amounts of place has always been central towards appeal of each Assassin's Creed. If the dusty streets of Masayaf, the c**** veined archipelago of Venice or even the sun baked Constantinople, everyone of Ubisoft's chosen settings has been designed with such a level of authenticity and historical accuracy (albeit twisted because of their narrative purposes), which it's quite normal you just read stories of tourists having the capacity to make their way around Rome simply from having memorised the map in Brotherhood. It's hardly surprising then that with Assassin's Creed III Ubisoft have absolutely nailed a recreation of 18th century revolutionary America. It's a sprawling land of open forest, bustling colonial cities and epic naval warfare, loaded with wildlife, frontiersmen and Redcoats. Many techniques from the lengthy reload animation of the period musket, towards the recognisable compacting crunch of jumping though waist high snow may be meticulously designed: not since Red Dead Redemption's Wild West comes with an American frontier been so fully realised and engrossing. The burgeoning wooden structures of Boston and New York play much like the brick tiled buildings of Europe, albeit after a little less verticality and wider streets. However it's from the forested areas that people understand why Ubisoft think worthy of another numbered entry in the series, rather than a subtitled sequel. The pine-valleyed frontier is usually a technical and visual marvel, and whilst there's a little too much conveniently angular geometry operating in the series' trademark free running gameplay, it's varied enough to weave a convincing illusion. The width, depth and breadth on the " new world " can be a grand ambitious statement of intent from Ubisoft - this really is their American epic.
