could be a coolant temp sensor... do you know if the car is overheating or not?

My friend that is your engine being very hot and crying for help, this is very serious and could cause complete engine failure. Do not start the car or attempt to drive the car it will need to be towed to your service shop. If damage hasn't already occurred the problem could be stuck thermostat,bad water pump, blown head gasket or a leak in one of the water hoses or radiator.

It's either the guage is faulty or the floter inside the tank is faulty.

What is the issue? Power steering in general, and Mercedes in particular, is not something most people can do repair work on.

have you already checked your fuses? i would start there first before going after the switch

buy a cd player cleaner disk. insert it and it will clean out your cd player. if not you need to buy a new one. a cd may be stuck inside. this always works for me, turn it on, let it almost start then shut it off right away, let it shut off completely for about 10 seconds then trun it back on and it should play. if not go out and upgrade your shetty cd player, you wanted a cool touch screen anyway right?

In order to figure out if a wheel will fit your car you will need to know the lug pattern spacing (i.e 5x112) and centerbore (i.e 66.5mm) (if your wheels are hub centric). Also, depending on how big your brake calipers are you will need to consider if the wheel is big enough in diameter to clear them. Sounds like it's time for a valve adjustment

Try spraying silicone lubricant spray in the glass channels (rubber beading thru which glass run up and down). If this stops fuse issue then you need to change those glass beadings.

Sounds like the sending unit in the gas tank is bad you need to drop the gas tank and inside with the fuel pump is the sending unit witch operates the fuel gauge

Owner of car needs to go to dealer with registration papers and drivers licence or id. Takes longer to drive then to get the code but the dealers are the only ones who generate the proper codes. If you are lucky the original owner may have placed the code sticker into the owners manual. There is a spot on the pages in the radio section just for that.

Should be buried under / in with the underhood fuseblock. Can't remember if that model has it were you take the fuse block apart to get to them, of it it is under it (still having to take it out)

Don't think for just the one single bulb. Look in your Owners Manual it will tell you in there.

Freez Out Plugs are located on Both Sides of the Engine Block and also on the Cylinder Head(s)

The glow plug relay on a 1985 Mercedes 300D is located under the hood on the driver side in the front corner. It is a black box with a black plastic cover on it. If you take the cover off, you can see a metal fuse-able link (a small metal strip that is actually a fuse). If that fuse is burned out, boom there is the problem. The fuse itself can be changed. The relay can also fail internally and it is common to burn up glow plugs when it fails, although that is not the only symptom.
