code p203 d refers to reductant level sensor ---circuit high or injector ,cylinder4--signal low===causes for sensor are --wiring --reductant level sensor---ECM and for cylinder 4 wiring---shorted to ground--injector--ECM you may have to get what a reductant sensor does from a MB service centre and see if it controls the cam advance mechanism

Hi,you need to take wheele off put the car up on axle stands then there is a tool called a spring compressor,(which are exspensive)or you can do what I did, I undone the back nut to the lower wishbone put a jack under the wish bone remove the bolt to the wishbone and slowly lower the jack take spring out then replace with new and jack up replace bolt job done,hope this was some help.

this wouldn't normally cause the light to come on try disconnecting it again leave an hour then try reconnecting earth first might solve the problem

i have a problem with mine if its an old one the motor and mechanisem slows down and some times doesn't close all the way properly you could try cleaning the rubber seals around the out side it may just be sticking as it tries to close properly the rubbers go hard with age and could be making it stick

It won't be fused separately, the gauge will be covered by the dash fuse. If the gas gauge is not moving then check the wiring by tracing the sender unit at the tank. It may be accessed through a small panel in the trunk floor. Pull off the sender wire, ground it on a clean metal surface and with the ignition ON, see if the gauge moves. If it does, then suspect the sender.

sounds like a dodgey ignition switch or dodgey key fob as they need to read each other to work

if you have the key, yes, if you have just a key fob (keyless entry) then no because the locks still need power from the car to function. also a "slim-jim" would get it, might throw a security code though when batt is replaced, if you use a coat hanger be sure to place something behind it to not scratch the paint!
