If the brew unit is in the wrong position when inserted you can knock the lever off the microswitch in the back. If the lever is knocked off you will never get the brw unit miss message to go away. You will have to take the machine apart and replace the lever on the microswitch. Sorry
We made a modification to the brew unit that would prevent this from happening. We modified all the brew units on the compact machines before sending them out so we would never get them back for this reason.

AN EXPENSIVE ELECRONIC MACHINE LIKE THIS ONE IS REQUIRED TO BE PLUGGED IN INTO A DEDICATED OUTLET WITH ITS OWN CIRCUIT. BROWN-OUTS, SPIKES, UNDER-VOLTAGES COMMONLY PRESENT IN ANY HOUSE WOULD CERTAINLY AFFECT THE MACHINE SENSITIVE POWER SUPPPLY AND ONCE IT FAILS THEN THE MOTHER BOARD , TOO.

Bad grind, worn burrs in grinder (so a mixture of coffee particle sizes); not enough ground coffee for the size of filter basket. - Adjust grinder so your brew time is in the 20-25seconds window, then take it from there.

The dregdrawer is connected to a button/switch inside the machine. - Switch broken. - dregdrawer wrongly placed. - dregdrawer is broken. (projection which goes into te machine is broken)

It's probably pulling more amps then the circuit breaker can handle. Try plugging it into a different plug or unplug something that's on the same circuit that you move the machine on. if that doesn't work there's a short to ground somewhere in the machine.

you have to change the amount of the water on the small coffe button. Press and hold it while is making coffee .When you want to stop -just take off your finger from button.

It means you need to run the decalcification program - basically run some solution through the machine and then flush it. Full details are available in the instruction manual.
