Power on computer and enter the set up (BIOS) menu by tapping the F2 key. Hold down the <Alt> key and depress the <E> then the <F> keys in succession. Charles, has this combination worked previously, have you been able to print from your Dell Dimension 2400 to your HP Deskjet 3070A successfully?If the answer to the above is Yes, then if you believe that the printer is still working correctly and you can test this with a different computer able to print to it, you should consider uninstalling and re-installing the HP software and device drivers for this printer.If you have not printed to this printer successfully previously, have you tested the printer with a different computer and proven it is still working fine?If the printer works fine to a different computer then providing you are using the same USB cable to connect to your Dell 2400, the problem needs to be narrowed down further.Check that you can plus other USB devices into the port on the Dell used for the HP printer - if these work, then your USB port is good - if not, try another port if you have one.If your USB hardware is good, then again you are left with the need to uninstall and re-install the HP software and device drivers - it may be worth trying to download the latest version of such software if available. Sounds like your hard drive crashed. You'll need to replace the hard drive.

the adapter u are using is pci express and the dell dimension 9100 are not compatible.. try returning it for either a pci (usually the white slot) or AGP which in most cases is brown.. the AGP will be your best performance.. if return is not an option.. then it seems that a new pc is in your best interest.

Audio is easy...requires little ram to operate. Video today needs 2 GIGABITS or more for VIDEO. A lot depends in the Motherboard Processor also. If it is old, the main processor is no doubt slow. High speed internet is faster than some computer speeds and thus the computer is trying to buffer (catch up) which causes means conditions to occur. Lag time with Video is one problem. Windows operating system is another. Win 8-10 are ok, but older OS's are slow. THEN we have a Video Card problem. Old cards require new drivers to keep up with changes. Some old Video is slow because the VIDEO RAM is too slow and old. Solution = a New 2018 Computer

When editing the BIOS if you go into the BOOT ORDER menu, it is possible that the network card is not showing as an option. In order to get this option to display, go into the "integrated devices (legacyselect options)" and then select the network interface controller. Edit that even if it is On and change it to On w/PXE. After saving the changes to the BIOS, you need to power the computer off then on and then go into BIOS again, and the "integrated NIC" option should be available in the BOOT ORDER menu. Set this to be the first boot device in order to use PXE.
