Epson scan wont start with windows 7 (Version 6.1
Some folks experience this problem because the current updated drivers are developed for Windows 10.
They are not backwards compatible in many cases and thus the older drivers are purged and you cannot put them back. Quite honestly, everything runs so much faster and better with Win 10, to include security features; so I strongly advise you to move up to Win 10 for 2018 and this current OS has all the current built-in drivers you need to get the job done.
Why too much yellow and red no greens or blues ?
Inkjet printers use additive pigments. CMYK, Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black. It sounds like you're not getting any Cyan ink to the paper. Either your printer is out of Cyan ink, or your Cyan print head is clogged.
Go into your printer's Properties and run a Nozzle Check. It will print a series of lines with each color. There will probably be a big empty space where it tried and failed to print Cyan. You can try cleaning the print heads, but if you're getting NO Cyan that is unlikely to work.
If you're lucky, your printer is one of the ones that the print heads are built into the ink cartridge so replacing the cartridge will resolve the problem. If you're not, you might need to get it serviced (or probably more cost effective, buy a new printer).

try the following solution : perform a head cleaning process with the driver on your pc. and the option available through printer for head cleaning. do it for some cycles. like 2x in both ends. re seat the ink cartridges. close it. power cycle.(power on / off) then try to print. if it still persist. try to remove first the ink cartridges. get a wd40, THEN LOOK for the pins that plug the inkcartridges to the printer. spray it with wd40. let it dry for 3 to 4 hours then try it again. this helped me with my printer on clogged nozzles. hope this helps
I bought new cartridges that after a short time

Any error messages/ red or blinking lights? Is the printer connected? Try a new data cable and a direct connection if using a print server or USB hub. Make sure that the USB ports work for a known working device. What does the printer status indicate on the computer? Are any files stuck in the queue (spooler)? Sometimes items stuck in the spooler will be cleared if you reboot or disable and then restart the spooler. (In Windows, you can do this at the command prompt (Run as Administrator on Vista or Win7). Type "net stop spooler" without the quotes and then hit Enter. At the next prompt, type "net start spooler" again without the quotes followed by Enter. When the command completes, reboot the computer. Try printing after the restart.)
I hope this helps.

(blinking lights and error messages will depend on the actual message; one issue can be "waste ink tank full". This is noted by a usage counter not when the tank is actually full. You can actually rinse the pads and blot up the waste ink and reassemble the printer then do a counter reset. However, it isn't always worth it. The counter is based on the estimated life expectancy of the printer and additional failures may occur soon. The Epson reset utility that I'm aware of is downloaded from Epson.com after entering your printer's serial number and other information to prove it is your printer.)
My printer says
It sounds like you have a faulty cartridge. The printer is not able to sense the cartridge chip for ink status. To check this, you need to try another cartridge, preferably a new OEM cartridge.
A second reason may be that you are using aftermarket or refilled cartridges and the non-OEM ink may have gummed up the carrier and nozzles. Usually this can be cleared by inserting new OEM cartridges, running deep cleaning an number of times (3x) and alignment.
One of the above solutions should solve the problem.
Please rate this solution. Thanks.

EPSON STYLUS RX 520 HAS AN ERROR E-91
The error E-91 on an Epson Stylus RX 520 indicates a communication problem between the printer and the cartridge. Here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue:
- Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
- Remove all the ink cartridges and check for any damage or leaks. Replace any damaged or leaking cartridges.
- Clean the metal contacts on the ink cartridges and inside the printer with a soft, lint-free cloth. Make sure they are completely dry before reinserting the cartridges.
- Reinstall the ink cartridges and make sure they are properly seated.
- Turn on the printer and see if the error message still appears.
If the error message persists, try resetting the printer by following these steps:
- Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
- Hold down the "Stop" and "B&W" buttons while plugging in the power cord.
- Keep holding the buttons until the printer starts to initialize.
- Release the buttons and wait for the printer to finish initializing.
- Try printing again to see if the error message is resolved.
If none of these steps work, there may be a hardware issue with the printer and it may need to be serviced by a professional technician.
