Check that you didn't by accident instruct the printer to employ "toner economy mode" or "draft mode" (Printer -> Properties -> Advanced).

You'd be amazed how small the debris can be. Get some "canned air" from any computer of office supply store and blow the inside of the printer out thoroughly!

hp software is premium ****. try a complete uninstall of hp software and drivers: check hp website in case a special cleanup tool is neccessary, then reinstall without hooking up your aio product until prompted by the installer (and make sure any anti-virus is temporarily disabled before you start) - this has fixed 90% of my hp issues...

If 350 & 351 are the original cartridge, you can ask to the cartridge seller for a guarantee. There is a chip inside the cartridge, sometimes the printer firmware failed to detect the chips. Or you can try to find, by Googling "C4272 Resetter Software" to download it.

Try using print preview from the Excel or whatever spreadsheet program to make sure you have correctly selected the worksheet to print. If there is nothing found to print in the application, no print job is sent to the printer.
If that doesn't work, let us know what program you're printing from, what if any errors you get when you try to print, etc.

Unfortunately Vista has problems with many printers. (Or maybe I should say many printers have trouble with Vista.)

HP has a work around that allows you to scan without using the Scan button. Go to:

They give you 2 options to scan using programs on your system

Try to clean the place where you put the cartridges using a contacts cleaner, do the same with the cartridge.

Un-install the printer and download drivers from HP. This link will take you to "choose your operating system" at HP. These will be up to date and may solve your error message. open the solution centre s/w and then populate the destination folder list and the scan to list in the scan settings window.
see if it works...

jst try deleting the printer icon from the printers window under the control panel,if it shows deleting,unplug the printer,restart your computer and then try deleting it again.it should go off,then plug the printer back in,and follow the on screen instructions.
if it is still not working then delete it from the device manager>usb composite device .it should delete the drivers,then plug the printer back in after restarting and follow the instructions.
