Lexmark
Be specific about your problem please. Does it power on, is the print bad, need more details.
Or I'll be a smartalek like the last poster: you have to uninstall your operating system and start over, put the computer and the printer back in the box and....JUST KIDDING.

My lexmark z1300 worked great on my Hp computer with windows xp, but that computer no longer works. Now I am back on my Gateway with windows 98 and I am unable to install a driver for my printer, I need to print out a very important document from the irs and I am unable to do so. Please Help!!!
Lexmark z1300
- Turn the printer off and open the access cover.
- Look for any obstructions in the paper path and remove them if
necessary. (It is possible to move the carrier assembly with the power
off.)
- Turn the printer on, load some paper, and press the Form Feed button. (On the X83, press the Select button.)
- Watch the paper as it feeds through and try to determine where the jam is occurring.
- Check to see if all the rollers are turning.
If all the rollers are turning, there may be something in the feed path that you can't see. Go to step 6.
If not, there is probably a feed motor or a gear problem and the printer may require service.
- If the paper is jamming under the carrier assembly, you may be able to fix it using the manual feed slot.
- Turn the printer off.
- Take a #10 envelope and feed it through the left side of the manual
feed slot until it comes right through the printer to the back of the
exit rollers.
- Move it up and down first, and then slowly move it over to the
right side. If something is stuck under the black guide plate, this may
work it loose.
Printer not working!
Usually black is provided by the black cartridge only. You might be able to setup the printer through the control panel using black and white printing until the color cartridge is replaced. That might turn the color cartridge off allowing you to print.
Making labels
there are software templates on the avery website. Maybe you can find the specific product you bought on the website and download a template that will help you print labels.
Not printing colored
try removing the color cartridge and reseating it. If that doesn't work, wipe the electrical contacts on the cartridge and inside the printer (cartridge holder) with a clean soft colth. If that doesn't work, I don't have another solution. I wouldn't try buying a new cartridge, I tried that with a cheap HP and got the same result. Personnally, I think of these cheap (inexpensive) printers as disposable--I use them until I encounter a problem the throw them away and get another. I mean, the printer costs less than ink cartridges for medium quality printers that have a slightly lower failure rate. If you want a printer that will last, you're going to have to spend more. The $100 Canons are highly ranked by Consumer Reports. My $.02 worth.
Loading paper
What seems to be the problem? Printer won't pull the paper in? something else? Are you loading the paper on the upper chute or the lower? lower chute is for output, upper chute is for paper supply.
