You should change to battery or switch to power outlet

This is typically caused by software that manages an uninterrupable power supply (aka UPS). Simply put, this is a battery that the server plugs into to so the server can run for a short time when there is a power outage.

UPS devices frequently come with software to communicate with the server so it knows when it is on battery. When the server is notified that it is on battery it will provide warning messages like the one you described. Some will even pass the notice to all computers connected to the server to make sure no work is lost.

One of the most popular programs is APC PowerChute. I would look for this program or other programs that have the words "UPS" and/or "power" in their name to find the cause.

I hope this helps.

Ibm eserver xseries 205 no display

You probably don't have a high enough wattage power supply to support the graphics card. Usually you need at least 300-350W

Ibm eserver xseries 205 I want display driver for window 7 pls help....Installed window 7 but it shows VGA device driver

I can only offer a way to try and resolve this problem. If this doesn't work then try the next step.

Step 1

On the start screen click the windows logo.

Right click my computer.

Click on properties.

Scroll down device manager.

Look for a yellow ! or ? on devices.

Right click that device.

Click on update driver.

Most of the time this procedure solves the problem. If in case it doesn't, you might need to go to a third party server. Windows 7 drivers

I use these tools as well. Otherwise I would not recommend it to anyone. Yes, we will most likely have to pay for the service. Thats the truth.

(Beware the free products offered on the web) As the saying goes, "You get what you paid for." And before you know it you are infected by malware or worse. I have been doing this for a long time now. I speak from experience. If anyone thinks this is spam then don't listen to what is said. I am only trying to help, because I have been there.

Windows server 2003. running P4

check in the bios settings for c.i.a., this allows the machine to "underclock" itself when it is not being used a lot to save power. If you cannot find this setting, please post the model number of your mainboard so I can try to find the exact way to disable this if c.i.a. is not visible.

Hope this helps
