Thermador 37 in. SGSX365 Gas Cooktop - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
I have the star burner model, w/ extra-low simmer.
Center burner won't light: If there is a bright spark (check all ignitor points at night with the lights out and look for consistent brightness of the sparks) then it's likely that the burner slots are dirty or the air/gas mix is wrong. If you can light with a match, but the spark won't light, then go for cleaning the entire burner assembly thoroughly with a brass bristle brush (available at most automotive stores). The proper air/gas mix has to flow over the spark to ignite. Weak spark, improper air/gas or misdirected gas flow that misses the spark can all cause this issue.
RR burner lights only on low setting. Again, check the air gas mix and clean all parts. Something like a small spider web inside the air mix chamber (area between the orifice and the burner can cause this and is difficult to see. Disassemble, clean thoroughly, reassemble and test. Extra low simmer burners (two on the left side) use their own control module with electric gas valves and variable electric control switches. The burner works on low, so these are not likely the problem.
Most folks want to find a bad part, and that can happen, but stove tops get dirty and cleaning usually helps. If not, you have a clean top to work on.
The indicator lens and/or the retainer are either broken or the retainer is missing. It's best to replace these as they are not expensive. When the top is off while cleaning is an perfect time to replace the lens.
The ignitor wont stop clicking on all burners
The wires to the igniters need to be replaced, our did the same and drove the technician nuts for 6 months...he wrapped them in electrical tape after seeing one arc...new wires fixed the problem.
Adjust propane
when turn it on no gas after 10 to 15 second very low gas than slowly goes up than after goes down and up again no great flame
Part 415191 Connection Tail Membrane
We are having the exact same problem with this part! Our oven is a S301T, but it still has the same part number for the tail membrane (touch control).
In FINALLY contacting someone at Thermador we were able to find the following information which might aid you. The part is manufactured by Bosch and according to Appliance Pros.com, the numbers:
Part Number 415191 Manufacturer's number (Bosch) Part number AP2832583 which replaces the part number originally numbered 14-38-680.
Don't know if this will help....it hasn't helped me so far. Thermador suggested that we go to a site named OBSOLETEAPPLIANCEPARTS.com. This site seems to be really messed up because you have to call and leave a message as the site is under construction!
I'm so darn frustrated that I'll never buy a Thermador product again (even thought they are great when they work) Good luck!!
Back midde burner off, but sparking and clicking
The switch is stuck, try taping it gently it may start to work , if not you will have to replace it.In the mean time you will have to turn off the power or if you can get to the switch you can pull off one wire and tape it off with electrial tape until you get new switch.

You are right...this

discontinued by manufacturer two-three years bad and you won't be able to find

the bad news, but you can check at some of the local used appliance parts
dealers and they might still have one or buy the new part # 622568 doesn't support self clean. Please

Igniter keeps firing without being
The most posible cause is that the ingiter have been mositure probably from a water leak and have be short the wires of the ingiter. Their is a small chance that it will dry by it self and be normal again. If not you can remove the top and reach for the ingiter, is a plastic box with a lot of wires in and out and with hair dryer you can try to dry it. If it still sparking again then you need to replace the igniter.

We have a thermador 5 burner gas range top and the
Most gas range tops no longer have pilot lights but use an electronic ignition (sparker) to light the burner. Normally when you turn the burner on you should here a snapping or sparking sound, at which point the burner should ignite. Here is a link to the user manual for 36" - 5 burner Thermador rangetop...maybe this will help:

By the way, in the short term you could always use a match to light the burner. JUST BE VERY CAREFUL THE YOU HAVE THE MATCH LIT AND OVER THE DESIRED BURNER BEFORE YOU TURN KNOB TO START THE BURNER!!!!
I have a thermador cmt
Google the specific part number, it usually gets me past all the sorting wizards on parts sites . 2) Contact Thermador, they now sell parts directly.
I cannot get my burners on my stainless steel gas
What I would try. Assuming the "burners" means the cast iron assemblies on top of the stainless steel, remove them to an area outside. Perhaps on a piece of plywood, and clean them with oven cleaner. Grease may drip off them, so a deck or driveway are unacceptable. Wear gloves and watch splatters. Wash thoroughly with fresh water before reusing. Beware. Caustic chemicals can discolor stainless
