When I try to take

Take the memory card out of your camera and look at it. SD cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card. If the switch is already in the proper position, slide it fully the other way and then back again.

When I turn on the

You'll be trying for another 3 years unfortunately.
I have the same camera and have the same problem.
Bought a new battery, new charger, new usb cord,
downloaded all drivers, read all manuals, contacted
SVP support 5 times and they never responded.
Now I have thrown the camera in the fire and am helping
everyone else who owns a SVP camera to warn future
buyers of their CRAPPY products that never work!

Will no charge

Same with my SVP DC-12V Bought a new battery, same problem, bought a new charger, same problem.
I guess now I'm regretfully going to agree with the majority of
SVP camera owners and say that they are pieces of **** !

you can transfer pics using this method:
Right click START, select Explore. Once your camera is plugged in, it should be recognized by PC as either the name of your camera or USB Mass Storage. Just scroll down the left panel until you see it. Now click the (+) next to it to expand the folders. Find the folder that contains the pics and copy them and paste them in a folder on your PC. You can also delete pics from your camera the same way.
The other alternative, if you are using an MMC card, is to use a smart card reader and plug that into your PC and the MMC card into the reader.

Hope that helps!

I got a new computer and lost the cd. how do i get pics on my computer now?

You shouldn't need the driver - Turn the camera on, Push the menu button - click right for "setup"
you will see animation, beep, frequency, format, default , etc.... scroll down to USBMODE and click ok. Then plug it into your usb that should already be plugged into your computer. A screen will pop up asking what you want to do open folder with pictures in it, etc.... if this doesn't work E-mail me and I'll send you Coach Drivers that will work. Put the camera in usb mode though and it will work. I had the same problem.
