Wifi password

An attempt to an answer. I think your service provider lets you have the password when you get the router( it is like that where I come from) I would contact the service provider. Kolbrun

I have to enter my password several times to get

your kindle device should be able to connect the network automatically , if this is not happening try adding the network manually.1.First, make sure you are within range of the network you want to add, and that you know the network name and password (if required).2.From the Home screen, tap Menu and select Settings.3.Select Wi-Fi Networks to display a list of detected Wi-Fi networks.4.Tap Join to enter network details.5.Use the onscreen keyboard to enter the name of the Wi-Fi network that you want to add.6.Once the Network Name has been entered, tap the Password box and enter Wi-Fi password / Network Key using the onscreen keyboard (if required).Tip: Tap the 123 key to enter numbers or symbols. Tap the ABC key to return to the regular keyboard. Tap the Shift key (up arrow) to enter uppercase characters. Your password may include non-English letters (accents, umlauts etc.). You do not need an installation CD to configure this wireless router. Connect a LAN cable from Belkin to your laptop/computer's LAN port, open a browser on your laptop/computer and enter the Belkin's configuration URL. http://192.168.2.1 The default PW = blank (just press Enter) You can now change the default admin password. Wireless extender problem

you can access belkin router with following link.
http://192.168.15.1
if you still face same issue then you have to reset it.
Press RESET button for 10 seconds it is in back side of router.
Then if it ask for user and password enter user as "admin" and password as "admin" or blank or "password"

Try resetting your router and re-configure it again. To reset the Belkin back to the default settings - Press and hold the pinhole RESET button at the back of the router and then power for at least 15 secs. Then release the RESET button. Connect a LAN cable from Belkin to your laptop/computer's LAN port, open a browser on your laptop/computer and enter the Belkin's configuration URL. http://192.168.2.1 The default PW = blank (just press Enter) You can now change the default admin password. If the router keeps resetting the best thing that you can do here is to do a firmware upgrade on the unit , you can get the latest firmware from the manufacturers web site and you will also fine there the way to do the upgrade...

Check and reseat ALL cables, connectors, splitters, etc. Contact your ISP to analyze the signal, have a ISP tech come out to verify the signal. It may be outside equipment.
