Mac adress lost

Makes no sense. It's part of the NIC and can not be changed. That's why it's referred to as the Physical Address.Best guess is the NIC is bad.

I need to sound card driver

Hi, you can download the driver here at asus:

http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/Intel_Socket_775/P5VD2MX/#download

Select first your operating system 32 or 64 bit.
Then select audio and click on global for download.

The file needs to be unziped before installation.

When unziped choose the installation program or exe file.
You may need to restart after this.

Here is a free unzip program:

http://www.7-zip.org/download.html

Just click on the exe file for download.

Hi,
Welcome to Fixya. If you upgrade your system to windows 7 you need to update the driver aswell. You can refer to the link below for the driver of your motherboard. The issue that your experiencing is caused by the drivers. If you will check the drivers that are available to most upto date driver is for Windows Vista only and all drivers are available.It only contain the complete driver for Windows XP. The problem that you have is a Compatibility Issue with Windows 7 since the motherboard was released before the release of Windows 7 Operating System. Inshort you need to downgrade the system because it will not work well with Windows 7.

Make sure you have the latest audio drivers installed. Go here and choose your OS then download and install the audio drivers.

I wanna sound driver for

Go to this website and select your operating system then select search. Wait for the loading and click audio, click either global or china then input the characters shown on the left and click submit. Just download the driver and install after downloading. After installing it will ask you for a restart, click restart and after restarting there will be a sound. Have a nice day!

Computer reboots whenever I try

test your PSU power supply unit
replace all the leads that attach to your hard drive including electrical extensions + IDE,SATA and the ones that attach from your motherboard to hard drive make sure all leads that are attached to your drives dvd\cd 3 1/2 inch floppy have secure connections and are not faulty or just replace them they are probably old and faulty ? good luck
