Acpi is for processor. Try to install latest video drivers. Or update driver of Acpi By right clicking it in device manager.

Why USB?
Some modems allow you to use USB, but you will need specific drivers for it, Ethernet cable is the better option

i recently solved this problem by hooking up a case open switch to the mb and holding it while the pc boots up no problem still wanna see where i can turn it off tho :S
