Have you made sure that you have correctly installed the 5670's VGA drivers (The ones on the CD that came with the card). In my opinion the XFX 8800GT is way better than the 5670 though, if this solves your ploblem and you don't want the 8800GT anymore send me a line at

ACPI on ASUS A8N-VM CSM Motherboard not working.
Can you please indicate how you turn the motherboard on if the on/ off switch is not operating?
I take it that because of the keyboard problem at boot up you are unable to get into BIOS> If this is the case then it might be very difficult to diagnose what is going on. YOu need to be in BIOS setup to check the state of the hardware.
What setup have you used to program automatic sheduling of TV program recording. Is the computer active all the time?
Not sure why you think ACPI or cmos battery might be causing the problem.
Please post a few answers that might help me understand the problem a bit better.
XP C-drive onto new mobo/cpu/ram gives 1706 errors on start-up
Did you undertake a "repair" of the XP installation..?
You should repair the existing installation using your original install disk But don't use the Repair console option, Go past this option until the install program tells you that it has detected an existing installation and would you like to either repair this installation or re-install from scratch.. Choose the repair option. Once this has completed, you should then install the mainboard drivers and then, go to Windows update and install ALL the required updates.
This method ensures that the old mainboard drivers are removed and the new ones, including updates are installed. If this fails for whatever reason, you may have no choice but to undertake a full re-installation of XP including a format of the drive (sorry)..
Then, once you have done this, you will need to re-install MS Office again as the repair of XP will overwrite some of the data and DLL files belonging to MS Office..
I have an ASUS A8N-VM CSM motherboard with an
Have you downloaded/installed the specific drivers for the microphones and the motherboard? Although you have turned on the options within XP, there are often proprietary drivers that have to be installed and configured for the system to recognize the microphone.
Check the ASUS cdrom that came with your board and see if there aren't drivers for the board you will need to install.
USB device over current status detected
I just completed some research and found that this issue did appear in some boards. AMD in particular. If you updated your bios version recently, this may be the cause. If you roll back the bios update to the previous version this should resolve the issue. Otherwise, please provide your make and model of the board you are using and I will do my best to research this for you and find an answer to your problem.
I am trying to find
The NIC (LAN) driver IS on the ASUS support page. IT is just not labeled as the NIC LAN driver.
It is labeled as the "NVIDIA nForce 430/410 Chipset SATA/RAID Driver Disk" under the "Utilities" folder.
I just installed this myself and it works great now.
Enjoy... And pay the favor forward some day.
Cheers.

It sounds like your motherboard has also fried. Whatever caused your power supply to burn up caused excessive voltage to go to your motherboard, and it will need to be replaced. There is a possibility that other things connected to your motherboard also fried such as the memory or cpu but you won't be able to determine that unless you replace the motherboard. In my professional opinion, it would be more cost effective to get a new computer at this point. Thanks and please take a moment to rate this solution as fixya, since it answered your question; even if the news isn't very good. Thanks!

Need to remove heatsink and Fan over the CPU . How do I remove ?
There is a stainless steel spring which goes through the heatsink and clips down on lugs either side of the cpu socket. Look carefully and you will see where you can put a flat screwdriver on one side of it.
Just push it down and away from the socket.
To put it back on just reverse the procedure.
Don`t forget where your fan is plugged into on the motherboard or power supply unit
