kindly remove the battery n check with power, if possible get checked the power connector of the power supply, with a multi meter, if its ok then its a main board issue. u have to change the main board

bottom left hand side of laptop will be a cover that has a couple of screws inside and is like a clip cover,take this off and hard rive inside that should slot out.

It maybe that you accidentally turned it off or set it to do some other task.

Start there first before re-installing the program that sets it.
That is on one of the cds that should have come with it and can be installed by itself.
