Try to hold down shift several times and reboot your computer. As soon as you see the lenovo sign shift again till you get to safe mode.. This might allow the monitor to stay on to trouble shoot ...If not you will have to call lenovo.

Seems like a faulty MOBO.Bu start problems can be a lot of other problems like a faulty RAM or VGA.I need more ifo like your OS and any that can help.

again try it without batterie it must be the batterie try only with the cable direct if its than still than you know it something with your pad which i dont think

i would say its the batterie, try to put the batterie out just connect it with the cable, in have that to i actually let it connetd even i know its not good for the computer the bad batteries make your pad for sure not better so watch out

try to connect it to an external monitor or a tv that got vga input, if will work on it is a display problem

if not, try to take out the back cover and remove RAM memory, replace whit one that u know it work(same fsb or smaller)

if not work to try to reset bios(removing bios battery)

are more things that u can try, but are morecoplicated and are risks in them so i just put the simple tests that u can make

You have located the BIOS battery (it is wrapped in heat shrink tubing) and it connects to the motherboard with a lead/connector from the battery.

2. Report that the machine is stolen. If you could provide the serial number, it will be great.
3. If another person will call for any warranty or technical support for the reported machine, warranty support can notify you and report the caller to the police at the same time.
