Just checking, before we begin: did you at all modify your keyboard layout? This could be the problem, though it's unlikely. And also, do your UP and QUOTE keys have greater usage than other keys? If you can, take the key covers off and see what's happening with the key switches underneath. I had a similar issue with a Dell once and it was due to a nonfunctional keyboard switch.Also, what happens when you plug in an external keyboard? Does this fix the problem? It means the router is configured for wireless access, but is not broadcasting or advertising the connection name.
