The laptop keyboard will need to be replaced. Heat from the laptop will wear out the keyboard. It will get worst. You can go on the IBM website an find out if your laptop is under warranty. If so, you can call them and a certified technician will come out and replace within one or two days. i know of one way to fix this problem ...you need to hook and standerd 101 keyboard up to the laptop and then long in with it and when you have gotten on your acount the hit the number lock key on the big keyboard and then log off .....then un hook the key board and this should fix the problem
Hello brush71, it most likely is. I suggest going to BIOS and trying to enable the cd drive. If not possible, perhaps there is a hardware failure. As you've described a problem with the Hard-Drive as well, I would suggest, if warranty is still applicable, to turn to your nearest Lenovo lab and have the computer fixed.
You would have to disassemble the screen in order to clean it. There are layers in the front of the screen, what you see is where the liquid got in between the layers. Screens can be taken apart, but it's not recommended.

i know what ur problem is exacally. u will have to spent some money to do so. a part in laptop of yours is broken or stolen. u will need to replace it with a new one. or else u can use on-screen keyboard that is in all windows versions to my knoledge. u can find that in start..>>all programs..>>Accessories...>>Accessibility
use it with mouse and stop using ur keyboard. i had the same problem once.
