Error 0701- usb over current on hc/port
This is not a big problem if the tablet works. There are three simple possible solutions to this problem:
1) Sometimes you can plug USB devices into a wall socket so you don't rely entirely on the USB power. See if the tablet can be attached to another power source - if so use the appropriate power adaptor to plug it into a wall socket.
2) Very few USB cables are designed to carry much current. This design keeps the USB cables thin and flexible. Try purchasing a USB cable that looks like it can carry the extra current. Unfortunately USB cable manufacturers do not display how much electrical current their cables can deliver efficiently, so you will need to guess. Generally the thicker cables can carry more current - these cables are *not* necessarily the expensive gold-plated ones. You can usually find a thick cheap one that will do the trick - but it will take a little experimentation. Try different thick USB cables to see if one makes the problem go away.
3) get a special USB cable that takes the power from 2 USB ports and delivers it to one device. These are strange looking USB cables that have an extra male adaptor cord hanging from a USB cable - the cable has 2 male adaptors and 1 female adaptor. Of course this will take up two USB slots on your USB hub.
Hope these help!

One of your driver is acting up. start in safe mode, disable one of the drivers (DVD or whatever) then close and try to start normally. If the PC starts then reinstall the driver.
Mousepad on laptop not working
Hello...
Reinstall the touchpad using your drivers and utility CD (you'll need to use a working mouse for this process). I have done this before and I hope it will work for you, too.
Should you have further questions, please feel free to post them here, take care...
Lenovo laptop - windows will not start, how do go safe mode?
you have a hard drive failure. i suggest you take the drive out. if you can. attach it to a usb to sata if possible and run a diskchk and before you do that you can backup docs to the machine you got it attached to. If you are not getting a windows option in anyway shape or form you have a hard drive failure which is why it does not give you any options.
Good Luck!

Want to use wireless internet on my lenovo 3000
Did you try turning on the little Wi-fi switch ON the switch is just below and to the left of the touch pad (on the edge just below the latching area). Some people ignore the most obvious solutions, no offense.
look for your D-link in the resulting notification icon that your (now turned on) found new wireless locations.
No sound in my pc after driver instalation
Either the wrong driver was installed or the audio device is faulty.
To check if the correct driver was installed, go to Control Panel - System - Hardware - Device Manager - If you get a yellow ? against the audio device then the driver for this device was not installed.
Go to the IBM/Lenovo WEB site - support/download page and download the latest Windows XP or Vista device drivers for your model computer,

Soundcard is going out. Can it be replaced or upgraded?
Most likely, you have an integrated soundcard on the motherboard. Most laptops have an integrated, soldered chip on the motherboard. The best bet for an upgrade is buying a pcmcia or usb soundcard. A pcmcia souncard is easier to put into the sytstem and not think about it. Better external soundcards are connected via a usb cable. What makes this better, is that there is no electrical interference with the soundcard functions. Of course, this is only an audiophile purist issue. You can find an example of each card by looking at SoundBlaster laptop soundcards as a reference. They make both.
