have you had a look in device manager under network adaptors to see if you have a driver installed for the wireless adaptor

it shows that you have not install drivers of all above listed items, please install them from the system CD or just download from the IBM official web site by clicking HERE

i would go to device manager find the touch pad prob under input devices uninstall it restart your notebook and hopefully windows will reinstall it correctly

The only way to unlock the password on a hard drive would be to send it to a data recovery company. Someone like TechRx, Drive Savers, Onsite etc. should be able to help for very minimal cost.

if the power is on and the screen does not show up , try to hook an external monitor using the VGA cable. If the screen does show up, it means that the problem is in the laptop LCD monitor itself. Otherwise if the external monitor does not show up, that means your laptop does not boot anymore to the operating system. Try to turn off the power and remove the power cable and battery on the laptop. Then press and hold the power button for 8 secs. Then reinsert the battery and power cables on the laptop then turn on the laptop. If there is still no screen displayed then call Lenovo for repair of your laptop.

typically you can reset the bios password by finding the jumper for it (probably near the battery for the bios, often J2) and switching it to the the open pin connected to the middle pin, power up the pc, turn the pc off, replace the jumper to its original position

it can mean that you need a new DVD drive, but you can first try to delete the upper and lower registry filters for the drive. Update bios and then use reginout

Try to use the One Key Recovery if still fails contact LENOVO Warranty Support Department, check if the machine is still on warranty for depot so that you can send it for repair via Fedex free of cost.

This model has a history of touchpad problems. Most times it is the ribbon cable that has come disconnected from the board. The connector is beneath the "C Cover" or top coer assembly. This is not for at the faint hearted. LOL. If you can keep track of screws and sizes. The manual may be helpful. Most IBM/Think models have full videos on how to repair replace something on the thinkpads. This model does not have one that I could find. But here is the manual
