How do I clean the transfer belt
The transfer belt has it's only cleaning unit, part number 604K07062. Before printing if you see toner on the transfer belt you can clean it off with a lint free cloth or toner rag, but if it comes back you'll need to replace the belt cleaner.

Why are traces of red ink showing up where they shouldn't?
Hi Marie,
This is a difficult one to solve without being on site.
Is the RED text actually "magenta"? in, which case suspect the magenta drum unit?
Is the text always spaced exactly the same distance down the page, in which case suspect the magenta drum unit.
Is the text a sample of what you were printing, in which case suspect the Magenta drum unit.
Check, if you were printing an A3 would you possibly see this text more than once spaced down the whole of the page?
If the text is spaced approximately 6" apart then suspect the Magenta drum unit, if a lot more than that suspect the Black belt inside the printer known as the IBT transfer belt and then suspect the IBT cleaner is not working efficiently.
have you had an address label stuck inside in the past?
If so, the IBT belt will need to be cleaned by someone who has seen this problem before or knows how to deal with these issues.
Good luck.
How to set coreect color to print
Suresh,
I don't understand what you mean. Check, run off an internal test prints, if thats satisfactory is the paper a good quality, what were the original installation prints like, acceptable? if so change the paper.
Contact your concessionaire and ask for a test file, that you could run off and check it out that way.
Good Luck.
Color ghost/shadow printing problem
Suresh,
Run off an internal test print, one of each colour grid, from there you can pin down the problem. If one particular colour shows the problem then it could be the drum for that particular colour. the drums are interchangeable.
Good Luck,
Why is there ghost printing/shadows on my xerox workcentre 7335?
Suresh,
You don't say if the ghost is a particular colour, by ghost I suspect you mean similar to a drop shadow.
Firstly run off an internal test print, one of each colour if the grid lines are fine and showing no signs of shadow then your problem is not an internal problem. Don't send a C,M,Y,K test print from your computer, you can't eliminate colours that way.
If you can pin the problem down to one colour it could be a particular drum unit. Investigate from there.
Good Luck.
